Text Messages
I have received a text message which came up on my phone as being from my daughter. It was a rather worrying message and I immediately rang her, but she hadn't sent the message. Is it possible that someone else's message had accidentally come to my phone, but if that was the case why would my daughter's name come up on my phone. Has anyone any suggestions?

Could it be that one of her friends played a rather unkind prank? I'd say that's more likely than any kind of malware or hack.

No, she's been home from hospital a few days after having a baby and, with her husband and baby, had just been to visit us, then I received this text message which she obviously hasn't sent. I have been reading on the net, tho, of other people who have had the same experience receiving texts, and also people who have been accused of sending texts they had nothing to do with. It's very scary really.
