Where do I begin.

For a while now we've been getting almost daily calls from a number of different call centres. They are mainly charities asking for donations.

At the moment it seems to be a company asking for donations on behalf of action research that are constantly calling and they never give up, no matter how many times I tell them to go away.

It's got so bad I setup an old pc running Asterisk PBX with an obi110 as a gateway to stop these numbers from getting through and so far it seems to have done the trick once added to the caller blacklist.

Yesterday the logs show that the company employed by action research tried to get through twice at different times, both were blocked.

But it would seem they have gotten wise to my trick and managed to get through by withholding their number!

I'm not sure what to try next, I can't block all withheld numbers as some family members mobiles are withheld as is the doctors.

We are registered with the TPS which to be honest seems pointless.

So apart from blocking all calls and changing our number what else can I do?

Something like this perhaps?

https://www.truecall.co.uk/call-blocker.aspx

http://www.cprdistribution.com/cpr-call-blocker/

Depending on how much you want to spend.

What I've put together is basically what these two items do, I just have more control

They called again yesterday but it was rejected

As long as it stops most of them, not much else I can do
