Brugge go into Leicester's Group. Can't say it's a nightmare draw for them either

Actually, you said Arsenal and Spurs would be the pairing for a particular reason.

The reason you gave was not why they were paired

In the end I think that worked out quite well for BT. I now think City are more at risk of not getting out of the group rather than Arsenal, but good to have Spurs and Leicester on the other night.

I'd be stunned if Arsenal don't go through from their group. Man City on the other hand..........very tough group. Leicester have a great chance of qualifying, and Spurs will face a battle to get through but I reckon they'll do it.

PSG V Arsenal (X2), Barcelona V Man City (X2) the standout ties

Id have thought BT a tad disappointed Spurs or Arsenal didn't get Real Madrid

I got this right last season, so here's my prediction for Arsenal's fixtures:

Basel (a)
Ludogorets (h)
Paris (h)
Paris (a)
Basel (h)
Ludogorets (a)

The fixtures are out, not that you can read them very well on twitter. Arsenal begin in Paris.

City start at home to BM, away to Celtic and then away at Barca.

And on the other night

Spurs home to Monaco, away at Moscow , away at BL

Leicester away at CB, home Porto, home Copenhagen

The Arsenal - Paris games are the same night as Man City v BMG which makes sense from a TV point of view.

With no Liverpool or Man Utd in this year Arsenal and Spurs will be the higher Yv viewers

I'm not sure how that's relevant

How will BT show the games on the three team night (Celtic, City, Arsenal?)

Bt sport two and three.. But will they use espn for the Celtic games or keep champions league goals on the channel and push Celtic to the red button?

Goals show will be on BTS1 with the first pick on BTS2, second pick on BTS3 with Possibly the Celtic games on BTS//ESPN
As discussed in previous days

Is this confirmed? So goals on sport one both nights?

I reckon they'll move the Champions League Goals Show to BT Sport 1 (as I'm pretty sure they did once or twice last season) or any games involving British clubs that are also featuring on BT Sport Showcase. They'd receive a load of criticism if they put Celtic or any of the English teams behind the Red Button.

Don't customers pay less just to have bt sport one though? If they put the goals on bt sport one people would just pay for bt sport one surely?

Like Sky Sports News is available outside of the sports pack and they show goals during the Soccer Specials in midweek.
It will have no baring at all plus, they had the goals show on BTS1 a number of times last season, so no!

BT could take the opportunity to "burn" their BT Sport Showcase opportunity to show Celtic, Arsenal and Man City on three of the occasions they all play, making it irrelevant if that game is on BTS1 and available to people who don't pay extra for the full BTS pack.

Because that is the reason teams are paired... to make sure that the highest-rating teams from each country aren't competing for viewers on the same night.

Did BT Sport Showcase have Man City this week to use up their forced allocation ??
