Exactly right - there are a lot of cricket fans, and golf fans, and tennis fans, and F1 fans, and rugby union fans, and rugby league fans .......
Of course football is the single most important sport by miles but all the others do add up.
Plus Sky are not going to go down to zero football - even if BT wins the next auction Sky will still almost certainly have 38 PL games, plus FL, LC, SPL and non-England qualifiers.
Which is why even if BT does win the PL auction I believe less than half of Sky Sports subscribers would cancel.
