    Goals show does look good.......

.....unfortunately I have to report Robby Savage is co-commentating on the Sevilla match and will be doing the Chelsea match too.

The goals show is great to be fair very impressive

Is there any option as a sky sports user with the bt sports pack to see the goals as they go in like there used to be on sky sports?

I've clicked the red button and can select all eight games but it doesn't show an option for goal alert?

Gola alerts are only available to BT TV customers. It's one of my major irks at the moment.

I'm far from being BT's biggest fan, but even I'll admit that the goals show is superb. Only criticism I have is the lack of a match clock when switching from game to game.

In a strange way good results for BT for this season's group stages, as there is less chance of a dead rubber match involving the English teams, obviously assuming that they can win in the rest of their games.

However, if they fail to qualify from the groups then in a future season depending on the co-efficient, the number of English teams that qualify may reduce to 3.

So, is the UK too rich and thus less motivated?

    The decline continues.

    Excellent night for BT.

I also enjoyed the Goals show - will be interesting to see the ratings for it - I imagine they'll be very low relative to the live games - but well done to BT for doing it.

Looks as if Liverpool and Spurs performance in the EL may now be absolutely vital re keeping 4 places in the CL.

In the studio they need to have on one of the tv screens in the background of the presenters a live shot of inside the ground as though they are at the ground

Why? It'll still be obvious to see that they aren't there.

First error. Starting with the City game, we've just seen that. Should be Man Utd first..

How wide should this TV be?

To echo what's been said by several people already, I thought the Goals Show was excellent. There were a few moments where it was a bit ragged, but I think that's always going to happen when you're trying to keep tabs of eight games and feed in the clips at the right time. Anyone who's watched the European Football Show on a Sunday night will know how well James Richardson and his trio of sidekicks work together, and that was definitely in evidence tonight as well. I probably wouldn't watch the Goals Show ahead of a really big game (and I did switch over to Man City v Juventus with around 15 minutes to go), but on a group stage night where I didn't have much emotionally invested in any game, it was a really good watch.

I'd say it's fairly likely that the United game would have had more viewers so I don't really have a problem with them starting with highlights of the City game.

Nope. It was on BT Sport 2. But considering how strongly their games always rate, I wouldn't be surprised at all if it had more viewers than City v Juventus.

Man Utd game had 11 minutes of stoppages, City 4, so the City game would have been ready first.

Why subscribe to BT europe if some of the games are on normal BT Sports TV?

Doesn't your wall clock give you more or less the same information given all the matches run from a notional 7:45pm to 9:30pm?

SKY UCL 10pm show was one of my favourite shows. 8 games with comms and a little chat. Voiceover on Sevilla, already what I feared. :(
