My google nexus 4 almost never connects to the internet via 3G. (wifi is fine). I've always had to turn wifi off in settings to get it to connect on 3G at all, but it seldom does. Really inconvenient.

I reported it to Tesco network, and they thought it could be a network problem, but it's ongoing.
Occasionally it works well, but only occasionally.
I most often get an error message about not being able to connect to DNS server, or 'this is probably not the page you were looking for' error message.

Could it be the phone itself? I've tried Voda and left for Tesco as Voda had terrible call reception (that hasn't got better either) and the same 3G problem.

eg can't connect outside in the communal garden, whereas my neighbour's iPhone has no problems on Voda.

Any ideas? thanks
