I didn't realise Luisa had kids, she said something along the lines of "I'd rather give birth again" when they showed clips of next weeks show.

I think that's exactly why he went onto the show. I'm not a fan to be honest.

I think that's why Luisa and Jason plus possibly Leah entered the show, and Fran has high hopes of making it on Babestation, but I think Myles' motivations were honest, he just wasn't very good.

How much does Karen love Neil? I think he's got £250k in the bag either way!

I was really surprised by how well Myles came across on You're Fired. I thought he was lovely, having not thought that much of him through the tasks. He was unlucky that there was no art task or similar this year, that would have really given him a chance to shine. But he was not the person to lead this task. Can't argue with him being fired.

I've just remembered that Neil had a Fran moment in there, where he described himself in silly corporate/marketing talk.

Three words, can't remember them exactly.

He's still someone I would send out for a bag of chips, but in light of this I might not now complicate the order with, say, curry sauce.

Jaz (I think) mentioned on her YF that she and Luisa bonded over the fact that they were the only mothers of the group.

It's all set up to be a Neil versus Luisa final now, isn't it? I can't believe I'm saying it, but Luisa had the right skills for this task with her retail background and she got pretty much everything spot on.

What an idiot Jordan was in the boardroom too. He's been painted as being so obnoxious and unsympathetic that he is surely due for a clinical evisceration by Margaret and Claude next week. Should be fun.

Anyone want to buy a Zsa Zsa vase? No? Didn't think so.

In the meantime, here are my usual thoughts on tonight's episode:

Surely if Leah was commended for 'almost' selling a caravan, Jordan should be applauded for 'nearly' selling THAT ... intestine-vase?

Applauded for nearly selling it, shot at dawn for buying it.

Kind of boring task this week I though thought.

Very strong performance from the women. Agree that Luisa vs. Neil in the final looks pretty likely now

Just got around to watching it.

Thought Myles was one of the "normals" at the start but, after last week and then this task, I was starting to wonder if he was actually some kind of plant who'd been put there to see if any of the other candidates had the guts to challenge obviously terrible decisions.

Myles absolutely deserved to go. Boring, monotonous twonk.
His 'deadly dinners' idea last week has surely got to be one of the worst in the show's history.

I agree. He totally failed to manage the project and his co-workers last night. His sacking was written in stone within five minutes of his team coming together.

Pretty-Boy Myles...the light's on but no one's at home.

Myles seemed a nice bloke and he may be good at his job - expensive product branding - but he totally lost his way in the last two tasks .By sheer good fortune he didn't get fired last week, poor Alex got the chop even though Myles came up with the concept and design of the snack food, and this week he picked the wrong products. Ceramics? People buy ceramics in Shoreditch? You're more likely to buy a ditch in Shoreditch than a ceramic glove and notepad.

The men picked the wrong products, priced them too high, couldn't display them correctly and the women picked the right products, priced them right and displayed them well. The men were embarrassingly bad compared to the women. And for that reason Myles had to go! Monaco is quite warm this time of the year so I'm sure he'll recover from his firing.

To be fair, his explanation on YBF was pretty reasonable.

He figured he hadn't been a leader as often as others so he "needed" to be one regardless of the fact that he had no particular idea about the task.

And, of course, that was his downfall. He was desperate to be in charge despite not really having any clue what to do next.

Honestly, I'm surprised at how much criticism Myles has come in for. Absolutely, he messed up on both the last two tasks, but throughout he's seemed competent, popular and well respected by the other candidates. If only our merchant banks were run by people more like Myles rather than the selfish, money-grabbing, in-it-only-for-themselves mob we currently have ...

You're doing a terrible job at defending him

I liked Ade Adepitan on You're Fired, I remember him on kids TV a few years ago. He should be on TV a lot more

Oh, I wouldn't try and defend him.

He was a muppet in the caravan task and, I swear, after the whole "deadly dinners" thing, as well as this week's palava, I genuinely thought he might be a plant, only there to sh*t-stir.

He just seemed quite reasonable and willing to admit his failings when he was on YBF and I guess I can see how that might happen.
In a sane world you'd be thinking "Okay, I have no clue about retailing tat so I'll leave it to somebody else" whereas in TA you're probably thinking "Oh crap! Neil has been in charge 3 times so I need to be in charge this time to keep up!!!" even though you're clueless about what to do next.

I guess it's just that when the caricature figures get fired we all boo and jeer like it's a pantomine but when a fairly "normal" person gets fired it's easier to be sympathetic.

Tremendous performance from the girls. This was like Treasure Flakes vs Pantsman in that it was so one-sided they couldn't even do a misleading edit.

I thought Jordan should have gone. Neither he nor Myles performed at all well, but I thought Jordan really looked the more hopeless of the two.
