Can we safely say "Love and Marriage" is a flop. As much as I like Alison Steadman, she is wasted on this crap.

hello peeps

BBC1 Tennis ave - 4402 (1.45pm to 7.30pm)
Your Money - 4566
Apprentice - 6301

The Chase - 2177 + 102
Me & My Guide Dog - 3992 + 268
L & M - 2696 + 270

App You're Fired - 2190
NCIS - 1374
Big Bro - 1233
The Chase at 2.28m exc +1 - it's been lower than that in previous weeks, being dented by other sport and the arm weather.

Nice return to form for The Apprentice, and Me & My Guide Dog did pretty well also.

Glad the Apprentice was back over 6mil it really is a great series, and next week is the interviews yay. Itv in fairness didn't do to bad, except the L&M is a right flop.

I don't think it's at Homefront levels yet.

Still - under 3million is quite dire for an expensive drama with a decent well known cast.

How expensive is it compared to other 'non-crime dramas' for ITV?

Not sure. But 3million for any kind of original British drama on bbc1/itv1 is rubbish.

L&M faced a stronger Apprentice so I doubt it was going to hold up as well as you were expecting.

Army wives drama, which I quite liked. Needed a bit more umph though

I think that L&M would work better on Sunday. It's possible that it might just get a recommission. Especially if Fincham is committed to having less of a reliance on crime dramas

Well, it started with 4.6million up against The Apprentice and has now dropped 1.8m in four weeks. Says a lot about what peopel thought of the show.

Judging by that, big drop for BB which is a shame, as it was up against TOWIE maybe, but I hope that wouild be a bit closer to the 1.4m with +1.

Love and Marriage is doing as well as I thought it would be. I assumed it would linger around the 3m area.

Bloody incredible peaks for Murray!

Wouldn't you think viewers are split? And as The Apprentice is coming towards the end, it's figures were going to rise anyway compared to a few weeks ago.

Some really good shares there. Particularly for the last set. The Apprentice did really well also, just slightly down on the series high of 6.44m.

Channel5 boss has announced that from the near future they are making a revamp to their schedule: all of their US shows will be shown at 10pm and no longer at 9pm. They want a schedule with US shows at 10pm every day of the week and new British shows between 8-10pm: http://www.broadcastnow.co.uk/news/b...057978.article

Any idea what the average for just the Murray match was? Looking at D.M.N's figures I think it would be about 5.5-6 million?

Happy 50th, Ratings Thread.
Superb, Pizza. Superb. A fitting way to mark our fiftieth!

UK TV Ratings ‏@TVRatingsUK 59s
Andy Murray's nerve wracking Wimbledon win peaked with a massive 10.41m/48.4% at 7.10pm last night on @BBCOne. @AndrewCastle63
A superb figure there too!

Anything for Emmerdale?

5.92m (39.0%).

An interesting bits from the breakdown:

17:45 - 6.00m (38.7%)
17:50 - 6.20m (38.7%)
17:55 - 7.24m (45.3%)
18:00 - 6.46m (38.8%) <--- nearly 800k disgraced people wonder where the BBC News at Six is...
18:05 - 6.41m (37.4%)

And also vs Emmerdale:

19:00 - 9.57m (45.0%)
19:05 - 9.83m (45.8%)
19:10 - 10.41m (48.4%) <-- Emmerdale was on a break, so there was a fair bit of timeshifting occurring, too
19:15 - 9.59m (43.8%)
19:20 - 8.04m (37.2%)
19:25 - 6.38m (32.0%)

Hence why Emmerdale's rating is low...
