It would have been better suited to CBBC rather than a prime spot on BBC1 lol

Soap ratings guys:

Corri 7.2mil (35.3%)
ED 5.28mil (24.5%)
Crisis!!!!

Surely there's little crossover between northern working class soap fans and southern counties ra-ra Pimms o'clock pony club types?

The tennis shouldn't have dented Em that much, and in any event he won at 7.10!

Corrie dented by regional news! Maybe the BBC should regularly air the regional news at 7.30?

Crisis?! Seriously?

Look at how many was still watching after the match (see D.M.N.'s post on the previous page). I'd say 5.3m for Emmerdale is a perfectly acceptable rating all things considered. Corrie still over 7m despite all this. EE dreams of those figures doesn't it? Now there's a soap in crisis...

Thanks it really is a stunning rating, and I imagine will only be topped by the finals as the highest rating match - both semis should be pretty straightforward and I doubt they will stretch into primetime on Friday evening.

....and awesome for the tennis by the way. Sadly I missed all of it.

Corrie's 7.2m is very much in line with the last few Wednesday episodes too.

In fairness Corri wasn't against the tennis it had finished by then. Plus that's normally what Corri rates around on Wednesdays anyways.

BBC One
13:45 - Wimbledon 2013: 4.40m (32.2%)
* set 1 (15:50 to 16:35) - 3.59m (35.7%)
* set 2 (16:40 to 17:10) - 4.51m (37.1%)
* set 3 (17:15 to 17:40) - 5.33m (37.8%)
* set 4 (17:45 to 18:30) - 6.72m (39.4%)
* set 5 (18:35 to 19:15) - 9.20m (45.6%)
* peak: 10.41m (48.4%) at 19:10
19:30 - BBC Regional News: 4.30m (21.0%)
20:00 - Your Money, Their Tricks: 4.57m (22.4%)
21:00 - The Apprentice: 6.30m (27.2%)
* peak: 6.76m (28.6%) at 21:50
22:00 - BBC News at Ten: 4.62m (23.5%)
22:30 - BBC Regional News: 4.56m (25.9%)
Tennis did excellently but surprised at how well Your Money, Their Tricks did. Was expecting that to be well under 4m given the weather and how other factual has been doing recently. ITV's Dogs show did pretty well too against it.

Huge drop for BB
I'm sure Friday's show will return with a surge to 1.6-1.7m. Along with Saturday, Weds is the next worst rated day for BB this year as it's up against TOWIE.

I predict 1.42m incl +1 tonight and Friday, 1.63m.

Still 400,000 too high! Is that rating for Hollywood Me with or without +1?

Channel5 boss has announced that from the near future they are making a revamp to their schedule: all of their US shows will be shown at 10pm and no longer at 9pm. They want a schedule with US shows at 10pm every day of the week and new British shows between 8-10pm: http://www.broadcastnow.co.uk/news/b...057978.article
This isn't wise as some US shows do very well at 9pm and help boost shows that follow. It's the same rigid idea of scheduling that hurts Channel 4 dramas stuck at 10pm.

A real nail biter that went to the final game in the last set, 10.41 million is excellent and no, to mention an earlier post, I'm not a Southern Pimms drinker who logically should do the Northern thing and watch Emmerdale. However, fair play to Emmerdale for keeping about 80 pc of its audience against the tennis.

Geniunely surprised by figures last night, it was glorious until late on, obviously people tempted by a Murray epic defeat tuned in to see him battle on.

That Your Money thing on BBC1 was the sort of tosh that should be on a 10.30 in the morning

Your Money was dreadful,all three presenters seemed disinterested. And why does every BBC consumer programme try (and fail) to be funny when people are being defrauded of large sums of money in some cases ? A lot of lazy journalism.

Good figures for the Tennis. Hopefully if Murray makes the final (Which, lets be honest will happen), It could be a massive ratings winner for BBC One. and there's me thinking 2013 would be a struggle after 2012.

Only 0.3m ahead of EEIC again and dropped 1m from Monday again.

Agree, if it isn't broke don't fix it. BB would struggle against Long Lost Family, Luther and The Apprentice, better suited to the 10pm slot. The CSI dramas have done very well in the 9pm slot these past few weeks too.

If Murray makes the final can see wimbledone overtaking bgt as the most watched show of the year be amazed if anything else overtakes it I can see only X factor and maybe strictly doing soo

With US network shows getting shorter and shorter (40-42 mins, with PAL speedup) how do C5 fill the 9pm hour when they're only allowed 3 x 3min 50sec breaks?

At least at 10pm they can shorten the slot, like ITV do with The Americans.

Channel 4 have "The Murder Trial" at 9 next tuesday. Can't wait.
I think it'll draw a big audience..My guess is 2.5 million, maybe more?
