Today's F1 highlights could get the biggest F1 ratings of the whole season due to lead in it will get.

BBC schedule changes...

- Today at Wimbledon moved to 22:25 instead of 22:35
- Andy Murray documentary being reshown tomorrow at 22:35 on BBC One

The documentary is already in the listings for 10:35 tomorrow.

Why Today at Wimbledon was so late sums up their contempt for Today at Wimbledon to be fair.

Hot weather or not, this is Wimbledon we're talking about. Patriotic sport. People will be watching it from outside (whether it'll count is another thing), but at the very least they'll have the TV on. It's one of those things which will still pull in a high rating despite the weather. The average is about right, but I just can't see the peak being lower than what it was when Andy lost.

70% is possible, may be pushing 80%. May get close to a 20m peak, maybe even over!

It's quite a good day for Sky Sports as well as they have Andy's next Grand Slam (the defence of his US Open title). They couldn't buy that kind of promotion.

I've got a five minute peak of 27.01m (81.9%) at 21:50pm.

And that will be 22:25 on BBC One, rather than 23:35 on BBC Two. The documentary was already scheduled there, slim possibility it might be moved to 9pm and do a swap with the Apprentice: the Final Five but I doubt that will happen.

I'd rather watch EastEnders thanks.

On social media, the Britain's Got Talent final peaked with 17,000 tweets per minute for 'egg gate'.

In comparison, Wimbledon hit 12,000 tpm at 16:34, 22,000 tpm at 17:20 and then went way up to 60,000 tpm.

They should do that swap. Apprentice: The Final Five is not 9pm material anyway.

The Murray doc even though it's a repeat would get more viewers.

Does that include international tweets though or is that just tweets sent from the UK?

I seem to recall a time in a decade or so ago where Today at Wimbledon (How the title was won) was shown on BBC1. Wonder if John will be back next year, considering the uproar in the press the last 24 hours...

Exactly the same here, on the south east coast which was just beautiful today. Been out in the sun for several hours and for what you'd expect on a Sunday like this it felt like many people were missing. Which was lovely for us as it was so peaceful but does suggest huge tennis interest. Doesn't mean it will be as huge as people think, although, I really think it will be. I don't know about average but highest peak of the year so far is sewn up no doubt.

And they've done the right thing! Moved to 9pm, just mentioned by Sue.

Exactly what I thought when I walked the dog people shouting in their gardens

Looking at http://secondsync.tumblr.com/post/51...ial-tv-summary for example:

"Due to the high volume of tweets being posted across Europe in a mix of languages we tracked Eurovision as an event rather than a UK specific broadcast, which meant it did not feature in our top ten leaderboard."

So it includes international.

Thanks fellas. Good move I think. It's a shame it's too late to do on the RPG as it would be a fascinating one to predict.

Could we have achieved a record viewing figure for this year today? I'm confident Wimbledon will have a peak of 18 million.

BBC Sport confirming...
Just to say, following Andy Murray's triumph, there are a couple of important schedule changes to tonight's TV:

Highlights of the final - Today at Wimbledon - will now go out at 2225 BST on BBC One after the news.

And an updated version of the documentary "Andy Murray: The man behind the racquet" will now go out on Monday night at 2100 BST on BBC One

Are we talking peak or average?

I've had a bit too much beer and sun to remember what the highest averages are but surely the peak will be the highest of the year so far. And the highest averages aren't THAT high, so that could well be beaten too.

I actually think many people got their fix of sunshine yesterday meaning Wimbledon will benefit today.

Highest peak of the year, easily.

Olympics stats are here - http://www.bbc.co.uk/mediacentre/lat...e-figures.html and http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/internet/...h_stream_stats

I would be surprised if we see anything broken when you consider the huge numbers last year.

Definitely, and I can't see anything else beating it this year.

The World Athletics Championships are time-shifted (being in Moscow). Mo Farah's races are at 3.55pm on Saturday afternoons (10th/17th Aug) UK time.
