I'm not dismissing anything. It is you, in your constant "Devil's advocate" comments that is tossing aside the importance of yesterdays events and the significance it has on British sport in general. The BGT winners will likely disappear into obscurity yet Andy Murray will continue to participate in Tennis and could possibly encourage British youngsters to take part in the sport.
When there is a football match live on Sky, you are in effect, watching 22 multi-millionaires run around a football pitch. But where is the "Britishness" of a Premiere League match?
Lewis Hamilton is also a multi-millionaire. No one criticises him either. I am intelligent enough to determine whether someone is truly Devil's Advocate or using the phrase "Devil's Advocate" to disguise their real point of view.
