Robbie was born into an itv household, but then he got all uppity and disowned his roots as part of his climb out of the backstreets of some Manchester ghetto.

He still watches itv but hates himself for it and he cant let on to his new middle class mates in case they laugh at him

LOL, he even admitted to it after we got him blind drunk one day and found his television tuned to Corrie, admitting he's never missed an episode in 30 years. The following day to atone he blew up a bingo to reduce the number of Corrie viewers in his home town.

[quote=RobbieSykes123;66833689]Superb BBC1 performance for a Wednesday when itv had an hour of soap and its bafflingly popular dog show, and bbc1 had no EE. They trounced itv1!

Granted there was a bit of tennis to keep the Home Counties ladies happy after a long lunch and before pony practice... [/QUOT

Maybe if you were an animal lover then you might understand.

Whats more suprising is how people can sit through that waste of an hour on BBC1, those default viewers come in handy i suppose.

Its not exactly as iff EE is rating that well anyway to make much of difference.

Oh dear! Another "newbie" who thinks the long time regulars need to conform to a more "accepted" agenda. Robbie is Robbie. He is harmless and also very humourous. Why do you feel the need to start your post with "Oh dear"? We are all different. If someone supports Man Utd and likes to besmirch those who support other teams, it's called good natured rivalry. We all have different interests. Just because Robbies may be different to yours doesn't mean you have a right to belittle him.

Any predictions for the finale of Waterloo road tonight I will say around 3.5m but ratings wise this series has done quite poor compared to others it's future remains unclear

Of course the BBC never over work their golden gooses do they?!

Holby, Casualty, Waterloo Road, Countryfile, Antiques, Pointless, The One Show, Masterchef...

Meanwhile us plebs in our Northern council estates were watching Emmerdale and not bothering about a game played by Southerners and toffs

Does anyone with the stats at hand, know what the highest position in the year end charts Wimbledon has come?

Of course a lot depends on how strong the rest of the programmes are in a particular year and what other sport is airing.

The perfect situation tomorrow will be if the Novak Djokovic match goes to 5 sets, resulting in a 4.30pm start time for Andy Murray's game. Then if that Murray game can hopefully go to 5 sets once again and he wins, we could be looking at another massive peak approaching 8oclock. I am looking forward to seeing Sunday all day shares, there will be some brilliant highs for some channels and some shocking lows for another one.

Also add Eggheads on BBC Two, only Wimbledon seems to stop this and they even run three year old repeats between series.

If its already known about it won't be shocking then will it?

On of course, it's all the fake shock that we get whenever BBC1 shows major sport at the weekend during the summer.

Imagine if ITV had Wimbledon, you would be wishing that Murray would be knocked out in order for them to have lower ratings.

The bias on this thread has reached the point of desperation.
