Just seen Law and Order is on next Sunday, against White Queen. Really could damage WQ, not doing great as it is.

Fantastic peak for Wimbledon. I thought yesterday it would be a little lower than last year's 16.9m due to the hot weather conditions and slightly earlier finish so it did brilliantly to peak at 17.3m. Mammoth 70-80% shares too, as expected.

Been stuck at a college induction day all day. ![]() But, holy shitballs at those Wimbledon's figures! ![]() The shares won't be beaten at all. To average at 12.1m and a 73% share, never mind peak with 17.3m and a humongous 80% share is astronomically good. You can't really take anything away from it - highest peak figure since the Olympics. Quote:
ITV (exc +1)
19:00 - Tipping Point: 3.10m (17.9%) 20:00 - All Star Mr and Mrs: 3.17m (15.2%) Quote:
BGT will still be on top in the overall averages chart.

Huge peak, better than everyone expected. Is that now #1 program of the year sorted? What did it average - 13-14million??
Looking at the breakdown, BBC had evidently 50%+ of the audience by 2pm (6.87m (56.8%)) and was above a 70% share from 2:55pm. Just wow. So (I've got to keep you lot updated) : Top 10 Overnights of 2013 1 – 12.09m (72.8%) – WIMBLEDON 2013 (07/07) - BBC1 2 – 10.56m (48.9%) / 11.12m (51.4%) – BRITAIN'S GOT TALENT (08/06) – ITV 3 – 10.34m (37.7%) / 10.56m (38.5%) – CORONATION STREET (21/01) – ITV 4 – 9.87m (40.6%) – COMIC RELIEF: FUNNY FOR MONEY (15/03) – BBC1 5 – 9.15m (31.3%) – CALL THE MIDWIFE (03/03) – BBC1 6 – 9.09m (32.6%) – EASTENDERS (01/01)- BBC1 7 – 9.07m (35.3%) – UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE LIVE (05/03) - ITV 8 – 9.04m (32.5%) – MIRANDA (01/01) - BBC1 9 – 8.73m (33.5%) (inc +1) – BROADCHURCH (22/04) – ITV 10 – 8.10m (29.8%) – MRS BROWN'S BOYS (01/01) – BBC1 Top 5 Peaks of 2013 1 – 17.30m (79.6%) – WIMBLEDON 2013 (07/07) - BBC1 2 – 12.23m (53.3%) / 13.09m (56.6%) – BRITAIN'S GOT TALENT (08/06) - ITV 3 – 12.16m (47.2%) – COMIC RELIEF: FUNNY FOR MONEY (15/03) – BBC1 4 – 10.7m (39.8%) – UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE LIVE (05/03) – ITV 5 – 9.4m (42%) – FA CUP FINAL (11/05) - ITV Can someone keep a track record so I don't have to repost the above again and again (albeit make a few amendments)? ![]() I would imagine there were a lot of orgasmic responses as per those ratings today ![]() - I would like to be surprised and see something beat that average figure. But, the peak will probably not be beaten at all, again I'd like to be surprised however. Celebratory post over.

No way will X Factor later this year even touch that 17.30m peak. So I reckon it will be the #1 of 2013 for Wimbledon.

Here's a look at how the four main broadcasters did in the BARB Monthly Shares for June 2013:
BBC BBC1: 20.4% (June 2012: 23.1%), BBC2: 6.7% (5.8%), BBC3: 2.0% (1.6%), BBC4: 0.9% (0.8%), BBC News: 1.0% (1.0%), BBC RB: 0.3% (0.3%), CBBC: 0.5% (0.7%), CBeebies: 1.2% (1.2%) --> Total: 33.0% (June 2012: 34.7%) ITV ITV(1): 15.0% (15.4%), ITV2: 3.0% (2.9%), ITV3: 2.6% (2.7%), ITV4: 1.2% (1.4%), CITV: 0.3% (0.3%) --> Total: 22.1% (June 2012: 22.7%) Channel 4 C4: 5.4% (6.0%), E4: 2.0% (1.9%), Film4: 1.5 % (1.6%), More4: 1.3% (1.2%), 4Music: 0.3% (0.3%), 4Seven: 0.3% (n/a) --> Total: 10.8% (June 2012: 11.0%) Channel 5 C5: 4.6% (4.4%), 5*: 0.6% (0.6%), 5USA: 1.1% (1.1%) --> Total: 6.3% (June 2012: 6.1%) In June, Channel 5 (+3%) was the only broadcaster up year-on-year, achieving its best family share for the month of June since at least 2009. With no Euros or Jubilee the BBC (-5%) and ITV (-3%) were down y-o-y, while Channel 4 slipped -2%. In terms of terrestrial channels, BBC2 (+16%) and Channel 5 (+5%) were both up, and it’s the second month in a row that neither channel lost share. The other terrestrials were down: ITV[1] (-3%), Channel 4 (-10%) and BBC One (-12%). In terms of the BBC digital channels, for the first time in nine months BBC3 (+25%) was up year-on-year, with the Confederations Cup helping the channel to its best ever monthly share outside of the London Olympics. CBBC though continued to struggle with it suffering a y-o-y decline for a seventh month in a row. Over on ITV, ITV2 (+3%) was the only digital channel out of the four which was up. ITV3 (-4%) slipped for the first time in eight months while ITV4 was down -14% with no Murray playing in the French Open. Over on Channel 4, whilst Film4 dipped -6%, E4 (+5%) and More4 (+8%) continued to grow - its the 7th consecutive month E4 has been up y-o-y and 10th in a row for More4. For CH5, 5* and 5USA were both stable y-o-y. ----------------------------------------------------------------- And here's a look at how the broadcasters have averaged for the first half of 2013 vs. the same period last year: BBC: 32.6% (Jan-June 2012: 33.0%) ITV: 23.3% (23.0%) CH4: 11.1% (11.3%) CH5: 6.0% (6.1%) ITV (+1.2%) has grown its market share compared to the first half of last year. BBC is slightly down at -1.2%. Channel 4 has fallen -1.6% and Channel 5 down -2.4% y-o-y. |

Of course, the BGT Final had a reported one-minute-peak of 17.5m+ didn't it? But again I think it's safe to assume that if Wimby's five-minute-peak was 17m in itself, the one-minute-peak blew BGT out of the water by some distance.

We still need official confirmation on that 17.4m one-minute peak for BGT. To compare, you would have to get a 1-minute peak for Wimbledon (which I would expect was 20m+).

@TVRatingsUK has relayed that BBC News have reported a peak of 1.9 million in Scotland - a 90% share.
Any demographics for Wimbledon? I think there's quite a chance the Over 65's were the highest skewing demo. |

I spotted this on DS.
http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/tv/news/...-with-47m.html I'm interested in the ratings for The Returned. Could someone help me please. It say 994k at 9pm, then mentions 177k. Is this second figure for +1? Giving 1.17m in total. Regards Keith |
