Last year when it was broadcast on a Friday, it rated around 4-5million.I agree that with the Sunday slot and weaker oppsition, TWQ now down to 4million, it could take advantage of this as audiences look for a good drama to watch.

The Apprentice: Final Five shouldn't really have been a BBC1 9pm show in the first place. I don't think any of the other major reality/talent shows have a spin-off slap bang in the middle of prime time on the same channel as the main show airs.

It's been on at 9pm before and done decently, but given how it and the Andy Murray doc were scheduled I think it was always the plan to switch them if he won.

Don't know. But ep1 which was a rerun from the night before averaged 263k (inc. +1) in the officials so that gives you an idea. Above average for 5* standards and now it's the first run showing so may well improve to 300k+.

C4 have confirmed The Last Leg will return for a run of 8 x 45 min episodes later this month, airing on Wednesdays - so I guess it's The Last Leg of the First Half of the Week.

There might be more a chance than we thought that the Wimbledon final will overtake the BGT final in the officials. The tennis has to make up +142k to do so.

Analysis of iPlayer suggests that coverage started at 13:53, three minutes later than billed. Attentional might possibly have made an error in not tape-checking from 13:55. This would have boosted the overnight average from 12.09m to 12.24m.

When the officials come out next Monday, there will be very little true timeshift of the tennis, as people have said, although Fudd may be right that a fair number of people will want to re-watch at least some of the final (almost certainly more than will have done so last year for Murray's defeat). Re-viewings count again, of course (as they did for BGT's Egg-gate)

In addition, the data will be adjusted to match the exact timings to the second supplied to BARB by the BBC, and used for accurately tape-checking to the nearest minute. This will strip out the period 13:50-13:53 (if I'm correct) as well as the final minute (17:59). Removing four lower-rated minutes from a 250-minute broadcast will have a effect, albeit a small one.

By making some assumptions*, I have estimated that the tape-checking to one minute will boost the average by just over +100k to 12.20m. On top of that will be added actual timeshift viewers, and only just over 30k of those would be needed to surpass BGT 's 12.230m on these figures.

BBC1’s Andy Murray doc repeat netted 3.97m (18.4%), putting a dent in Long Lost Family. The ITV show got a low of 4.76m (22%).

Hmm, maybe boosted BBC One a little but only a few hundred k.

Thought Murray might have done slightly better than that. But still fascinating nonetheless to see a show rate so much better on repeat than when it went first time out. You can probably count on one hand the number of times that has happened. (I know it was updated slightly, but still)

Long Lost Family is a likeable solid dependable sort for ITV.

It not often that factual on ITV beats BBC1 factual
