The between sets analysis you mention was done this year, I remember watching on a few occasions them showing where players were hitting the balls, where they were hitting serves etc and going through all the stats after each set so they haven't ditched them.

Not sure what else they can show really. I can only presume they are banking on the big Doctor Who episode and Eastenders. Can't see what big sitcom they will show on the night apart from MBB.
