Hi chap, I need three tablets about ipad size, for employees to view files ie policies and procedures etc, but not be able to do anything else.

I have an ipad 3 which I can do this with 'guided access' but can't seem to enable the on button so staff can turn it on and off, also it would be steep to buy three of them.....and ipad 1s, although cheaper do not have guided access.

So looking for a cheaper option, any suggestions?

I plan on locking the tablet to Dropbox or similar, so staff can search and browse documents but not print or edit etc.

if its just for dropbox, its really not worth paying lots for top-end devices...
