I've walked past Luisa's shop (Dixies Cupcakery) a few times and it didn't look very impressive or busy. Perhaps moving online wasn't the best move.

"Who knows, but one thing’s for sure, it doesn’t seem like Luisa is at all happy with the reports that surfaced this morning, branding it a “personal intrusion”."

She does know that company accounts are filed online...?

IIRC she has other companies where the accounts aren't so public.

I've always tasted cake samples in shops before ordering cakes for special occasions. Is it possible to have a successful cake business with online presence only?

I don't know, I live in the Hertfordshire area and the local newspaper reported that she's moved exclusively online.

Her business partner and ex-husband, Oliver Zissman, revealed this week that Dixie’s will now be operating exclusively online.

“Most of our sales were coming from the website in terms of orders for weddings, parties and corporates, so it just made no sense for us to continue operating out of a high street shop with all the associated costs.”
