Rank The Final Five

We've had this game for the last couple of series... rank the final five contestants from best to worst (is cool if you have reasons, but not vital) and I'll add them up and post the scores at the end. First choices get five points, second get four points and so on.

I considered not making one as there is already a 'Which order do you want to see them' thread, but looking through the actual posts on there, not everyone has factored in all five, and some people have done two for 'think' and 'want', so it can't be ranked categorically. This one can be. Have fun!

Mine are:

1) Luisa. Actually really like her. Very bright, clever girl, and even most of her criticism has been for things that can be defended.
2) Neil. Bright lad, is a good salesman.
3) Leah. Consistent, but hasn't stood out a huge amount.
4) Jordan. Really went down in my estimation in the last episode. The fact that he has someone else involved in his business deal makes me question if he has ever watched the programme before.
5) Francesca. Don't actually know why she's still there. She hasn't really shone on any of the tasks.

Only one vote each please!

1. Luisa - always liked her, not just jumping on the bandwagon in these last few weeks. She is brilliant. Needs to tone down her bolshiness perhaps, but otherwise the best candidate.

2. Neil - he's never really messed up and has been very consistent.

3. Jordan - despite the boardroom this week, he's been very consistent and a bit of a dark horse. I've always liked him. It's worth noting that last week was his first time in the bottom three.

4. Leah - she's not really done much wrong, but has she really done that much that's particularly noteworthy?

5. Francesca - same as Leah really, what has she done? She's not really ever messed up, like Leah, but she can't win? Surely?

1. None of them. Seriously, if I was Sugar I'd keep my money.
2. Neil - when he's not saying arrogant things to camera about Neil Clough, he has performed well and he can sell. He looks good this year though I don't think he'd have shone so much against some other year's candidates.
3. Leah - I don't much like her, but I get the impression on her own turf if her business is something in medicine she's probably very able.
4. Francesca - I have no strong views about her. It will be interesting to see what her business is.
5. Jordan - he's not without skills but he's no good when there are problems and he keeps massively misjudging how to talk to Sugar. And his business sounds totally misjudged for this show as well.
6. Luisa - She's proud of picking on people, she'll lie to her own team and she's the most attention-seeking self-satisfied tabloid-hungry of this year's attention-seeking bunch. If she wins she won't be working for Sugar this time next year she'll be trying to get in the Jungle. She's not without ability either and she had a good week but I think winning would just be wasted on her and I'd rather it went on someone who really wants it. If I go on which one would I hate to work with the most, it would be Luisa.

Yep, pretty much agree with this. They don't have particularly charismatic or even attractive personalities. Luisa, in particular, is ghastly. More importantly they don't appear to have attractive business proposals, relying mainly on services rather than new and interesting products, although I am interested to see what Francesca may have in mind.

Purely preference - but my preferences are formed based on their actions. Jordan has no chance in the competition, but I've liked what he's done on the tasks, he was hilarious in the boardroom, and he seems like a fairly good bloke.

As long as Luisa or Leah don't win I'll be happy. Luisa is only happy when she can take over and get her own way. Leah can't do the maths...remember the beer task...anyone who has done A level Sciences should have had no problem and to be a doctor she would need A level Science subjects. Also her voice grates on me. Can't remember if it was her or Luisa who went to the mall in Dubai when the pm told them to go to the souk....even if the pm was wrong, they should follow orders, not go against what they are told. Imagine Lord Sugar giving them business advice but they think they know best and do their own thing regardless.

1. Leah - a consistent candidate who's proven that she can make good decisions and can be feisty when she needs to be.

2. Luisa - I don't like her a great deal but business-wise she's done well. She's got all of Leah's good points, but with more negatives.

3. Neil - Out of all the men this year he's proven to be the best, but again I don't like him really, he needs knocking down a peg or two.

4. Jordan - But I'm struggling to say a reason why!

5. Francesca - Deserves to be bottom purely because of all the rubbish she spoke during the away day task!

Looking forward to seeing Claude Littman in action, I have actually spoke to him on the phone a couple of times, nothing like his on screen demeanor

On the beer task, the sub-team doing the bad maths were Tim, Francesca, Rebecca and Natalie. Nothing to do with Leah. In fact Leah's grasp of figures probably went a long way to helping them win the Away Day task.

1. Luisa - I think she's always been a brilliant candidate, and has definitely improved in terms of her attitude and manner towards other candidates in recent weeks.
2. Neil - Obviously a really strong candidate, but Luisa has more of a spark for me.
3. Leah - Was my favourite at the beginning but has kinda dipped a bit, but I still think she's strong and I have a feeling her business plan will be really good!
4. Jordan - I've started to like him more in the past few weeks, but I'd still rank him below the others.
5. Francesca - Haven't seen her doing anything special or stand out at all, she shouldn't even still be in at this stage imo.

1. Neil - Looks very confident about his business plan. Very reassuring air about him and a good sales guy. So AS will not have to babysit him
2. Luisa - Passed by Karen and Nick. AS also seems to like her and her confidence.
3. Leah - I think she comes into her own when she is challenged. Would be good to see her in the interview rounds
4. Francesca - No idea how she managed to escape elimination and so assume she has something good as a proposition
5. Jordan - He seems to fall apart when pushed even a bit.

That was Francesca, not Leah.

1. Luisa (bright, individual thinker, good instincts, strong character, shrewd, decisive)
-------------------------------

2. Neil (people believe him when he speaks, good salesman, fairly reliable)

3. Leah (consistent, reveals some spark when cornered, but needs to do more)

------------------------------

4. Jordan (not sure what his good points are - sounds articulate but makes no sense, no composure, arrogant in boardroom)

5. Fran (simply should not be there, poor in tasks, spoke the most meaningless corporate drivel i've ever heard to the amusement of all in the boardroom, most notably Karren and Luisa)

Are we ranking on how we think, or how Sugar thinks? I'll go for the latter:

They're all terrible, I wouldn't hand any of them the money, and Sugar's a fool if he does. I'd probably trust Neil the most to be honest, so

1. Neil - despite the supreme self-confidence, a lot of it does seem justified. I don't think he bullied Jason, I think he managed him, and I actually think he'd be an alright guy to work for if you were hitting your numbers every week. Karen's going to open doors for him if SirAl doesn't.
2. Fran - not because of performance (she's terrible, between no maths skills and her away day BS) but because for some reason I think she has a great business plan up her sleeve. I actually think she has come across as quite a nice person too.
3. Luisa - she's a horrible person, but potentially a competent retailer, and she's profits driven. I ca see Sugar putting her in the top two or hiring her. I couldn't work with her in a month of Sundays
4. Leah - Sugar won't want involved in plastic surgery. She has done little to impress me; I think she's a great sounding board for bad ideas, and is probably a good judge of character, but she doesn't have the empathy to sell, or any ideas of her own. She is also incredibly negative.
5. Jordan - I actually think that as a business person (ie company man), Jordan is smartest, and I could easily see him make it to COO in an organisation. Good delegator, organiser and strategic thinker. However he is not Sugar's kind of person in a million years, and has a very petulant, spoiled manner about him. I also suspect that something is going to come out about his programmer partner that will turn that situ around - an autistic brother perhaps, based on Jordan talking about how he needs to take care of him

Neil: Has been a sound candidate all the way through, and is not afraid to say what he thinks (rightly or wrongly)

Fran: Has had some so so tasks, but generally a good performer, (her business idea may make or break her)

Leah: Started well, but seems to only pop up when there's moaning to be done, and I lost a lot of respect of her in the Dubai task

Luisa: To childish, and her playground ways of arguing over everything she doesn't like, but not actually saying what she would do, plus is she playing with fire over her affair with Jordan (may be proof she is not trustworthy and maybe a "parasite") but she did lead well on last task.

Jordan: Too sneaky, always hiding in the background, then jumping on the "bandwagon" once it's a safe bet. And I hate his over dramatic boardroom antics.

1) Neil - been consistent throughout the series.
2) Leah - consistent as well without being as 'excellent' as Neil has been.
3) Jordan - a bit of a let down for me last week, when the previous week he had looked quite good.
4) Luisa - nasty vicious personality - wouldn't want her in my team / work for her.
5) Francesca - has done nothing special

This is all being added up and ranked - I can't use your score if you don't include all five. What are your thoughts on the others?

1. Luisa - not everyone's cup of tea and a bit of a 'bull/china shop' but does tend to speak sense and get results. Might appeal to Lord Shugs liking for blunt speaking and upfrontness.

2. Neil - as above really, these 2 are way ahead of the rest IMO.

3/4 Leah / Francesca - pouty and sulky face, add nothing to 'the process' other than looking nice.

5. Jordan - a bit arty farty, looks like an ad exec, just what Lord Shug don't like.
