DS' Next Top Artist Series 6: Mainstream Quarter Final!
Hello and welcome to the Quarter Final of NTA6 Mainstream! Last time, the final 8 all performed anthems and songs that had been inspired for something, however it was a bad night for Sara Bareilles who just missed out on the top 7 after being beaten in the bottom 2 by Mumford and Sons
![]() ![]() ![]() This week the final 7 will be performing two songs from the emotions that they chose from the list of emotions! However it's going to be the toughest yet, as there is no jury vote and a DOUBLE elimination, meaning the two acts with the least amount of votes will be automatically eliminated, meaning your votes are more important than ever ![]() ![]() ![]() Firstly, lets introduce the acts and their mentors! Alexos and FrankMusik
aliyah101 and Bastille Barry_Clarke and Sharleen Spiteri Carlisle156 and Sara Bareilles Dandem and Ryan Tedder dondfan998 and Justin Timberlake fireemblemcraze and P!nk Gav 2.0 and The Strokes I've Got Class and Joss Stone jackel1234 and Imagine Dragons jag02010 and Dragonette JordanC55 and Biffy Clyro Lucas and Mumford & Sons pingu58011 and Tulisa pothuthic and Cyndi Lauper puppylove7 and The Script r0ry101 and Sugababes staceyxxx23 and Duffy SacredDiablo and Neon Trees Satanel and Jennifer Hudson Strictly_Irish and Train stonerparty and Dionne Warwick Tomi Adenuga and NeYo unclekevo and Katy B |

Last weeks Bottom 2 survivors Lucas and Mumford and Sons are up next, with a Surprise song that was recently performed at Glastonbury
A Little Help From My Friends http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X0BELty_7jk&hd=1 Note from Lucas: I know this might come across as a self indulgent song choice, but I got the short straw with this 'theme') and it was a surprise as nobody was expecting them to close Glastonbury with it. |

To vote, PM me ranking the acts from 7-1, 7 being favourite and 1 being least favourite. Voting will close at 9:45 with results straight after! Your vote is extra important as tonight is a DOUBLE elimination with jury vote, so make sure you vote! ![]() For predictions this week, just predict the 2 acts you think will be eliminated tonight, 2 points for each! I'll see you later tonight for results! Feel free to comment on the the show and which acts you liked in the voting space

Really strong evening, there were only a couple of songs I didn't love, but those acts' other songs were two of the best so it made it really hard to rank

RESULTS TIME!
![]() And I know I say this every week, but this really has been the closest week of voting by far! Pretty much every vote we've had has changed the rankings, especially at the beginning where each vote completely changed it ![]() Will do results a little differently this time as it's a double with no jury, I'll announce the first 3 acts that are safe, then the act who has eliminated 7th. Out of the 3 remaining acts, I'll then announce the remaining 2 saved acts, and then eventually the act finishing in 6th! Ok so, the first act with a place in the Top 5 and next week's semi final is... |
