I'm off to do some googling but I've just found out DC are bringing out the following:

Batman 23 (of course)
but also
Batman 23.1 Joker,
Batman 23.2 Riddler,
Batman 23.3 Penguin
and Batman 23.4 Bane

What's going on.

( there's also TDK 23.1, 23.2, 23.3 and 23.4 - surely this is more than simply a big money grab ??)

DC are doing a villains month for September. All the books are publishing .1 to .4 with origin stories for some villains.

And here was me trying to cut down on my monthly comic spending... darn it.

- and it's not just the 4 Batman titles, Superman, Wonder Woman and others are doing it too.

Yeah I think its every DC title during September as isn't it something to do with the fall out after the upcoming Trinty War in the JL titles!

Saw the "this is coming" promo about the Trinity War in a recent Bat title, and how (iirc) it will span quite a number of titles. Methinks this event is something I'm just gonna let pass me by and hope it doesn't have too much effect on the titles I do follow.
