I've used it.

For the price it is actually very good and can produce some pretty modern, good looking websites. It's good for those who don't want to learn HTML and the like. It basically works like a desktop publishing application.

It has a few flaws, namely the templates are very "samey", in that there isn't a lot of variety between them and it doesn't have the sheer power of the big boys such as Dreamweaver, but then it costs a huge amount less than they do.

If you really want the best control over your websites and want a career out of it, there still isn't much of an alternative to learning coding, but for personal websites and some basic commercial ones Webplus is a good choice.

My site was built using WebPlus X6. If you want to get some idea of what it looks like, you can check it out here.

Of course, you can build much fancier sites than this - you can probably check out other examples on the Serif web site.

I have used WebPlus from the early days, upgrading to each new version as it came out. X5 introduced light boxes, which I found especially useful (examples when clicking on a screen shot or the Contact button). X6 has mobile site support, but I have not tried that out yet.
