Seeing as the tasks are over for another year, what wad your favourite boardroom??

Mine would have to be either-

*Week Five, with arrogant Zee being ATTACKED by Leah and Natalie and then Natalie crying...
*Week Seven, with the double firing if Natalie and Kurt, much more entertaining/ dramatic than that of series 7 and 8.
*Week Ten, because Jordan was so hilarious!!

Anyway, what are your guys' opinions?

Week 8 for Nick's "most disgraceful display of manners" lambasting of Luisa

Come to think of it, there haven't been that many that I've liked. I suppose Week 8 was quite entertaining, because it was the first time that there had been joint PMs, which was an unknown quantity. And it was good that Jason was finally gone, whose popularity I can't really understand because apart from in Week 7, I think he was overall one of the weakest candidates this series.

One thing that I haven't liked so much this series is what Monkseal calls 'the fire-teasing'. It's when Lord Sugar very heavily implies that someone is going to be fired, and then switches at the last second. They've done it in the past, but I don't think it's ever been done as heavily as it has been this series. Occasionally it would be all right, but it seems to happen every week.

Loved Nicks slap down of Luisa when she was crowing about how she saved the task in week 8.

Put her in her place good and properly - and stopped only marginally short of calling her a liar!

Zee, Natalie and Leah was pretty hilarious

Week 5 will always be one of my favourites now. I loved watched the women (particularly Leah) smack down Zee, who really had it coming! An entertaining and satisfying boardroom for me!

It would have been Series 5 for me, but I didn't like how close he came to firing Natalie.

I disagree, I think in some ways he was the strongest of them all and probably had one of the best plans this year. I question his ability to put it into action and he undoubtedly isn't the sort of person who reacts well in a situation like what The Apprentice puts you through but that's not the point. Just because he didn't show much of himself and did show a bit of naivety doesn't make him weaker than the others at all.

The show requires you to be of a certain mould and if you don't fit that mould you're never going to appear "strong" or that good because everyone else will just massively over shadow you. The Apprentice is a highly charged environment designed for entertaining television and has little reflection of real life. Jason clearly needs someone with experience who can reign him in and guide him but that doesn't make him weak or even "weaker than the other candidates" as you put it, he's just not the bulldozer wreck everything in sight type person (I realise neither was Tom from series 7 but Tom was a bit more forceful in the end as it turned out.

When I said he was one of the weakest this series, I was referring just to what we've seen on the show. I can't judge any of them on their professional lives outside, as I don't know enough about any of them.

So why'd you take him to the brewery he's drier than a cracker in a desert

Week 5 was the best for me, and probably one of the best Apprentice BRs ever I enjoyed the double firing as well, even though I liked Natalie!

If you're judging who you like based on who the best candidates are, you probably take this show far too seriously.

The best boardroom was probably Leah, Zee and Natalie in Week 5 for me. I liked Week 9 as well because Leah was utterly hilarious, with her "m'love" to Alex and destruction of Myles.

Not that I didn't like Jason on a personal level, but that is ultimately not what the show is about. My personal favourite candidate on this series was Jaz (just because she seemed genuinely nice, and would be a right laugh to have around) but she was the right person to be fired on that task. Who you like and who you want to win aren't necessarily the same. That's what makes The Apprentice different to Big Brother.

How can you say that. As far as I'm concerned, all Natalie contributed to the process was bad project management. Can you add anything to that list??

For the record, I meant Week 5, not Series 5. People have probably realised that, but I'd just like to clarify.

I just thought Natalie was all right. Obviously they designed an awful product, but I didn't think she was that bad a Project Manager. Her mistake was letting their initial idea - which was quite good - become overclouded by incorporating everyone's ideas. I thought other than not having enough control over everyone, she wasn't that bad a PM. She listened to everyone's suggestions, and she chose the right people to pitch; she didn't glory hunt for herself and insist on pitching like so many other PMs have. I wouldn't say she was a stunning PM, but she was decent. And on the other tasks - she didn't stand out that much, but I didn't think she was too bad. I would have liked to see her have a second shot as being PM, and if she screwed that up, I'd be all right with her being fired because she didn't really prove herself either.

She was actually praised that week in the boardroom, it was the product choice which was the main reason for failure (the companies liked the team and their presentation).

Well my point is that you're probably taking the show too seriously because you're treating it like it's a legitimate business interview, when it's really just a twelve week journey to exploit people's idiocy and ineptness. Jason was so great because he was a shit candidate, not in spite of. The show's not supposed to be taken seriously because if you haven't noticed, most of these people are buffoons.

I wouldn't say that most of them are buffoons. Some of them don't do that well, certainly. On the other hand, there are some really good people. This series, I think Luisa, Leah, Neil, Alex and Rebecca have been the standouts, and even Jordan, Myles, Jason, Natalie and Zeeshaan did okay on some tasks. I also liked Jaz and Tim.

The best boardroom moment followed the caravan task, when Nick asked Leah why she thought Kurt had moved her across.

Leah: "Because I was top seller ..."
Nick (interrupting): "Because you are eye candy".
