DS ENDERS - SERIES 8: 15/18 EPISODE 136 ‘BLOOD PII’ FRIDAY 28TH NOVEMBER 2014 J-B leaves the pub in a daze as Maurice guides him down the poorly-lit market. Ambulance sirens can be heard in the distance. J-B feels his heart race as he gets closer to the coffee shop and almost reluctantly drags his feet inside the door where he is greeted by the sight of Harlowe unconscious on the floor. The crowd begin to disperse as Los asks them to make room for the paramedics. J-B bends down beside her and caresses her hair, ‘You’re going to be alright Har!’ He gets back on his feet as he hears the ambulance arrive outside. As he looks outside and sees his mum and brother, he looks down at his birthday boy badge and struggles to keep his composure. His face quivers and he looks into the back of the shop. He breathes in deeply as the paramedics arrive to assess Harlowe. The sirens bring back memories for Sharon who holds Dennis closely as he sleeps on the sofa. Peggy dons her coat and goes out to investigate. Dean and Roxy are also enjoying their first night back together and are distracted by the thoughts of what may have happened now. Scrabbler watches the paramedics from the office window and drools over one of them. Gary is heading out for a couple of drinks and checks in on Dot. She tells him that she has a new lodger, MrJames. She claims Gary is jealous when he dismisses him as the local kiddie fiddler. Lotty rushes over to the shop and introduces herself as Harlowe’s GP. J-B and Lotty are both anxious for confirmation that Harlowe will be alright. They state that she needs to be assessed by doctors before they can say for definite whether or not there will be any lasting damage. J-B states that he’s going in the ambulance as the place her on the stretcher. The crowd watch on in silence as she is taken away. Josie worries how J-B will manage on his own in the dark. Back in the pub, news spreads of Harlowe’s plight and the party atmosphere soon turns sour. CherryRose says that she’d never drink that muck, ‘A pound a cup. Pact full of everything but coffee. Have you tasted it?’ 0…0 adds that she only drinks it ‘cos it’s cheap.’ Aaron sweats as Lea becomes increasingly intoxicated. Sorcha states that she hopes Harlowe is okay. Keyser inappropriately quips that he won’t be taking any bets on the matter. Lea throws herself shamelessly at Peter Beale and asks if she can sample his fruit and veg. Sez states to a deadpan Priscilla that she thought they were desperate for some action. Lotty is approached by Scrabbler as he heads home. Lotty asks if he wants to go for a drink, ‘I’m tired of feeling helpless. I need some wine if I’m going to sleep tonight.’ Scrabbler says he’s wrecked and ‘It’s not much fun being surrounded by drunks but you can crash at mine if you want.’ Lotty says that it’s Friday night and they are well overdue a night on the tiles. Scrabbler links arms with her as she adds that she will need someone to carry her home. Lea eyes Scrabbler as he enters. The other girls remain schtum and watch as she offers to buy him a drink. Carol confronts Janine with the visiting order from dullagj at the foot of the stairs. Janine lambasts her for opening her letters and states that she didn’t want to go, ‘You put him there. It’s not my fault he resents you.’ Carol cries that she just wants to know he’s alright, ‘He won’t see anyone else. I’m worried he’ll do something stupid. I hope you will be able to live with yourself if he does.’ Janine fumes as Gary enters in the middle of the commotion. Gary sends his mum upstairs and sits next to Janine on the stairs. He offers her his reassurance and she leans in for a kiss. Gary rejects as Gavin enters through the door with his contract…. Janine takes the contract and tells Gavin that she will read it over the weekend and get back to him. Gavin states that she should sign on the dotted line right now if she wants him to keep their dirty little secret. Gary punches him….In the bar, Priscilla and Sez giggle as Scrabbler informs Lea that she’s not hairy enough for him. Lotty downs the shots as Carol comes down the stairs to Gavin playing the victim. Carol orders him out. Janine threatens to tell the whole pub that he plans to put the market out of business. Gavin scurries out as Carol wonders what caused Gary to see red. Scrabbler tries to get Lotty to come home but she hops up on the table and taps on her glass. Carol, Gary and Janine enter the bar. ‘Someone in this Square is writing to Dan and wants to meet him. There’s a dangerous person among us, more dangerous than Dan could ever be. Sleep with one eye open. *hic* Dan was a desperate man in desperate situations. Someone wants to revel in his badness. I want to redeem him to the greatest. He may not be blood but I love him like a son. It’s my job to make people better.’ Lotty stumbles and falls, Scrabbler and David help her up as the pub watches on. They help her back to Scrabbler’s as she drunkenly sings. The doctors tell J-B that Harlowe is being admitted to ICU with septic shock. It is important that they treat it quickly, ‘she’ll be given antibiotics intravenously and oxygen.’ J-B asks if it is linked to her eczema, ‘She has been waiting to see a specialist.’ The doctor nods and says they believe it has how her blood became infected. J-B goes to the toilets, locks himself in a cubicle and bursts into tears. The camera pans away from the cubicle to the sound of him sobbing. Los cuddles into Toni at the shelter as he states that today’s events have made him want to hold those closest to him a little bit closer tonight. Phil kisses Sharon as she breaks down over her fear, Gary is frisky with Kim but she tells him his breath stinks, Ben and Aaron creep up Ian’s stairs, Dean tells Roxy that it’s good to be back in his own bed and Lea snogs a Foxy Hotpot outside Mc Klunkey’s. J-B looks at Harlowe in ICU and is pleased to see Josie and B-J arrive to support him. Janine and Sorcha lock up the pub. Janine sits Sorcha down and tells her that there’s something she needs to tell her. ‘Sorcha, I have wanted to tell you this for a while. There hasn’t been a right time or moment. There was never going to be. I can’t keep it from you any longer. Gary told me. He knows. Sharon knows.’ Sorcha asks her to spit it out, Maurice will be here to walk her home in a minute. ‘Gavin ordered TK’s murder. He ordered the hit on Eddy’s dad’ Janine stutters. A shocked Sorcha gets the duff duff. Coming Next #137 CRY WOLF

Thanks Adam!
DS ENDERS - SERIES 8: 16/18 EPISODE 137 ‘CRY WOLF’ MONDAY 1ST DECEMBER 2014 J-B is sitting by Harlowe’s bedside at the hospital. She says that she feels much better following the blood transfusion as she prepares for surgery. J-B watches as she is wheeled away to theatre. J-B is tipped on the shoulder and turns around to see a woman with her hand out in front of her. ‘Hi! I’m Harlowe’s mum. Bernie. How is she?’ she asks. J-B exchanges pleasantries and explains that she is getting an operation to remove the infected tissue but she’s on the mend. Peggy leaves for Portugal and tells Phil that she will be back for the wedding in February. Sharon smiles through gritted teeth as she waves her off with Phil. ‘Let’s hope her next visit isn’t as long, eh?’ Sharon mumbles. Phil remains quiet as they re-enter the house. Sorcha refrains from telling Maurice that Gavin was ultimately responsible for TK’s murder as their wedding edges ever closer. Maurice says that the homeless situation has worsened since winter hit, with more people looking for help ‘We’re sending out a call for more volunteers’ but Sorcha’s mind is elsewhere. She gives Maurice a peck on the cheek and exits the house with Eddy. ‘I’m just nipping out to leave Eddy to crèche. I might pop into Cilla’s’ she says as the door closes behind her. Roxy, Shirley and Dean discuss Dan’s letter writer around the breakfast table. Roxy asks Dean if he feels ready to leave the house yet but he shakes his head and returns his attention to his breakfast whilst listening attentively to their conversation. Shirley states that Lotty said someone on the Square is secretly supporting Dan, ‘You read about these copycat lunatics in the news. I might have to start stashing knives in my boots.’ Roxy laughs but Shirley looks at her in a stressed manner. Roxy quips that there’s plenty of sharp objects in the salon, ‘I don’t know if that makes me safer or more at risk.’ Kim announces to Gary that they’re closing the B&B so they can make it their home. Patrick and Denise seem happy to go along with it so Gary is pleased. Then, he reads a text from Janine, ‘Has Gavin said anything yet?’ and leaves in a hurry. Gary sees MrJames leave Dot’s house with a briefcase and a slice of toast hanging from his mouth. Gary follows him. They both walk briskly in the direction of The Tube. Gary catches up with him and warns him that he will be keeping an eye on Dorothy and that he will have to answer to him if there’s anything amiss. MrJames is slightly unnerved at the threatening manner he has approached him in and nods in agreement before rushing off through the station. Lea, Priscilla and Sez chat in the living room. Priscilla says that Mona will be returning to Northern Ireland in the New Year but she wants to be here for the 30th anniversary celebrations, ‘Lea that means you’re welcome to stay here as long as you pay your way. Scrabbler has a spare room if Mona wants to come and visit.’ Lea squeals with a frisson of excitement. Sez demands to know what happened between her and Foxypot the other night, ‘I thought he was gay. Does he swing both ways?’ Lea blushes as she replies, ‘I could turn anyone but no, he bats for the other side. It was just a snog. He’s a really good snogger though!’ Priscilla states that the three of them need to go on a night out this weekend but Sez reminds her that Sorcha is meant to be having her sten, ‘And you’re supposed to be organising it!’ Los’ letter arrives and he hides its contents from Toni. Paula is suspicious of him but he soon opens up about Val’s plight. ‘I can’t live with myself. I can’t sleep at night. You’ve heard me pacing the flat. I need to stay with her for a while. I need to until I’m sure she’s ok. If anything happened to her…..I wouldn’t be standing here if it wasn’t for her!’ Toni hugs him tightly and tells him that she’ll go with him to Val’s today. Paula watches as Los places the letter in the inside pocket of his coat. Paula tries to have a quiet word with Toni while Los uses the toilet. Toni explains that Val is like a mother to him, ‘I thought he was struggling with the booze again mum. I’m so glad that it’s not that.’ Also tonight, Ben serenades Aaron with a rendition of Lady Gaga’s Bad Romance. Lucy flirts with Jay when he calls into Max at the car lot. Scrabbler is upset to learn that Angie has returned to Italy to be with her sick mother and might not be returning to EEHQ. Sorcha confronts Sharon as she walks through the Square Gardens. Sharon is taken aback as Sorcha launches a tirade at her, ‘How could you? I thought you’d understand. More than anyone, I thought you’d know how it feels. You’ve only known him five minutes. Though I guess you’re marrying into the Mitchells, he’ll fit right in!’ Sharon asks for a chance to explain once she overcomes the confusion but Sorcha walks off in pursuit of Gavin and she soon spots him leaving the doctor’s surgery. At the café, Lea tells Aaron that she is a fully fledged housemate now and wants to put down roots in Walford. Aaron questions her, ‘I assume you’ll be taking my room then? Make yourself feel right at home.’ Lea tells him to stop getting his knickers in a twist, ‘You’ve practically moved in with Ben anyway. You know its best that I’m here to stop you getting into any more trouble.’ Over at Val’s house, Los looks at his letter entitled ‘Gender reassignment’ but quickly hides it when Val and Toni enter the room. Sorcha watches as Gavin enters the pub. She follows him. She watches as he converses with Janine. Janine rips up a cheque in front of him and tells him that he won’t be getting a penny of her money. Annoyed that his plan is unravelling, he leaves abruptly. Sorcha startles him as she stands on the spot where TK died. Gavin asks her to get out of his way but she stands firm. ‘I know what you did!’ she spits, ‘I won’t rest until everyone knows what a murdering, vindictive scumbag you really are!’ Gavin calmly states that he hasn’t got the time for her silly little games, adding ‘You wouldn’t want to lose another fiancé before you get the chance to walk down the aisle now, would you?’ Sorcha stands aside as he walks off. Sharon informs Gary that Janine has told Sorcha the truth about Gavin. Gary is hurt by her betrayal and explains to Sharon that Gavin caught her making a pass at him last week ,’He said he’d tell Kim if she didn’t invest in his project.’ Over at the Beales, Phil pops in and Ian assumes that he’s come to see Ben or at least he soon wishes that he had. ‘Beale, I’m having trouble in the downstairs department’ Phil stutters. ‘What? Have you forgotten how to flush people’s heads down the toilets?’ Ian sighs in bemusement. Ian sees that Phil’s in a quandary, ‘I’ve never had trouble setting sail so to speak but aren’t there tablets you can take?’ Phil says he’s too embarrassed and Ian urges him to talk to Sharon. As a groggy Harlowe comes around from her operation, she tells J-B that she wouldn’t have got through this without him. Over at EEHQ, Scrabbler sits alone in his office staring at a pile of scripts, struggling to keep his eyes open. Lea finds a piece of paper in Aaron’s room as she packs up the rest of his things. It reads ‘Dear Dan,’ A shocked Lea can’t believe her eyes. Gavin lies in wait for Sharon. When she sees him, she continues walking so he calls out to her, ‘I’ve got months to live Sharon.’ Sharon turns on her heels at the Mitchells gate and stares him straight in the eyes, ‘Is this some kind of sick joke Gavin? I’ve heard it all before. Goodnight!’ She slams the gate behind her. Gavin remains standing in the cold as we hear Ian read Bobby a bedtime story, ‘At last Peter learnt his lesson that if you always tell lies, people will eventually stop believing you.’ Gavin gets the duff duff.
