EPISODE THREE (15/24):

Dan goes for an early morning walk after a sleepless night. He is shocked to find Bevis setting up his stall. Bevis goes about his morning business and ignores him, dan begs him to hear him out. “You pledged your support to me. Every time I close my eyes I relive the moment. I did what I had to do, I’m not a bad person. I nearly confessed the day I went to see lotty, now I’ve run out of tablets, what’s going to happen? Just cos I wouldn’t shag you again, you abandon me. I thought you were a friend!” Bevis retaliates with an angry outburst, “You led me on and then made a fool out of me. You wanted me to leave, you got what you wanted, now keep out of my way or that doorstop will be making its way to the police station. Oh and I heard you on the phone to lotty. You deserve to be alone you possessive psycho.” A tearful dan keeps on walking.

Joyof_pat looks lustfully out the window as Masood delivers the post. Scrabbler is shocked to find a visiting order from Gary dated today amongst the junk mail, will he go to see him? Priscilla is worried when sorcha says that she wants to move into TK’s house to be close to him. Sorcha tells her she’s off to organise the funeral, not mentioning the fact that she’s actually going to visit NeX in the hope of finding some answers.

PrincessPerfect is making herself at home in Angie’s office, determined to prove herself especially when Scrabbler holds a meeting with the whole team in a bid to steer the ship after a bumpy few weeks. He decides to give Shirley a reprisal, saying that there’s still a lot of potential there and he may have wielded the axe prematurely plus ds wouldn’t be the same. They also discuss who to kill off in the upcoming train crash, “Right Tyler and Fatboy are gone, so that leaves 7 axings to get rid of. I think we should kill 3, preferably from different families so that it affects as many people as possible. Sam, AJ and Jack are my picks.” Scrabbler leaves PP in charge for the afternoon as decides to visit the man who tried to kill him…

Also tonight, Klendathu has mixed emotions when he discovers Fatboy has left Poppy to go and work abroad. Vaslav is ecstatic to get the job as DS MOD, he makes his presence felt straight away by banning people who praise Newman. IanMandy is shaken after his dream that he was Mandy Salter, has he become too obsessed? Michael is upset that sorcha is getting all priscilla’s attention and tries to make her jealous in the Shirley Gutter by flirting with Sez_Babe. Los.kav visits dullagj2 in hospital telling him that he has moved in with vald as is attending AA meetings with Lauren but is thrown when he bumps into a nurse who knew him when he was a woman. Ian’s delighted to find out that Sharon is his new neighbour when she moves into Chryed’s old flat.

Sorcha tells NeX she wants to know everything and when he tells her about the gang he got mixed up in, she’s sure she’s found the culprits. “Maybe they mistook him for me. People could never tell us apart when we were kids. I’m not telling you their names because they’re dangerous people, I don’t want any more blood on my hands. They’re letting me out for the funeral although I’ll be cuffed.” Sorcha is frustrated that she may never get justice for TK.

Scrabbler’s is at the psychiatric hospital to see Gary. He apologises for what he did to him and thanks him for not pressing any charges. But he’s got one more favour to ask……….Gary wants him to find his missing sister, Emily. “She’s been missing for over a month now. I need your help, I’m afraid something has happened to her!” Scrabbler asks him for a picture and says that he’ll see what he can do.

Sorcha meets with Rev Stevens in preparation for tomorrow’s funeral. “NeX is the only family he has in this country. He wasn’t religious but I am and I want to give him a proper send-off.” Dan’s working the late shift and takes the time to spy on Bevis, he’s shocked to see he’s still living on the Square when he enters the Masoods’ house.

Thejoyof_pat tries to make Mas jealous in the pub by wearing a sultry, red, figure-hugging dress and flirting with AJ. When it doesn’t seem to be working she snogs AJ to the amusement of the rest of the punters. Shirley looks on distastefully, Masood doesn’t seem bothered but when he gets a phone-call that Kamil’s childminder is quitting, he asks pat is she’s up the job. She accepts without hesitation with Wicks on the way she thinks it’s only a matter of time before she’s feeding on his samosa. When AJ whispers for her to come back to his, she declines and heads home. Just when she thought her night couldn’t get any better, she sees David Wicks at Carol’s door.

Duff duff: Thejoyof_pat skips home while swinging her handbag and grinning from ear to ear.

COMING UP:

It would be funny if IanMandy actually swapped bodies with Mandy Salter, and then was told that he could never swap back. I would LOVE to see his reaction. Good ep, I enjoyed it.

EPISODE FOUR 16/24:

Sorcha awakens in TK’s bed clutching his favourite shirt. She pulls herself out of bed knowing it’s going to be a tough day. Dot calls around to offer a few words of support and a bible quote thrown in for good measure. Priscilla heads over before the hearse arrives, a crowd already gathered outside. Sorcha is spewing her guts up in the downstairs loo but she blames it on the nerves.

Joyof_pat is quick to inform Masood that David is back on the Square and stayed at Carol’s last night as he makes his way to TK’s with Bevis. Dan is shaken to see pictures of Emily the troll stuck up around the Square with the word ‘MISSING’ and the offering of a reward for information, sure that it’s Bevis’ handywork a seething dan sets about confronting him but orders a quick scotch to calm his nerves.

Maurice tries to hold back his tears as the hearse enters the Square. IanMandy supports him as he tries to take his mind off Mandy. Zack is worried when xTonix still won’t leave the house, he voices his concerns to her but she brushes them off? Klendathu calls for him and tells him to get a move on, as they make their way over he’s thrown by Poppy’s pale complexion as sees about making sure she’s alright.

Scrabbler closes his office for the morning as a sign of respect. Dullagj2 is gutted that he won’t make the funeral but los.kav tells him that his main priority should be getting clean. As los.kav rushes to the funeral, he is taken aback when the nurse calls him by his former name. He ends up missing the hearse before getting a phonecall from Lauren who’s close to falling off the wagon and needs his help.

Also tonight, Vaslav’s ruthless streak on the forum causes problems when all the EE posters stop posting until he’s demoted, will he be able to get them back on side? Michael keeps Sez_Babe and Alice on a tight leash. Mona’s back in the country and calls to Pete Lawson’s house demanding to know how Shirley will exit, will he give in to her demands? Sharon’s delighted to finally have her own place after a year on the Square but when she clashes with Phil again at the strip club again, will she sell her share?

Sorcha is pleased to see NeX at the funeral even though he’s in cuffs. She rejects Maurice’s sympathetic hand as she makes her way into the church. Dan confronts Bevis outside saying that his sick joke won’t work and that he’ll take down every one of them one by one. Bevis doesn’t know what he’s on about and tells him he’s deluded and to buzz off, “You’re like an annoying bee buzzing at my ear. Piss off and let us give Tk the send-off he deserves!”

Sorcha takes a deep breath as she prepares to give the eulogy. Meanwhile back at the pub, blue_angel has to tell Shirley to get her fingers out of the buffet. Everyone looks on as sorcha takes to the altar, “I want to thank him for the times we shared, the love he gave and the way he cared. The way he was taken away from us will always seem unfair, some will say it’s karma, others that the good die young. I didn’t know that morning, the sorrow that day would bring. You heart stopped beating and I couldn’t do a thing. I can wipe away the tears but I can’t wipe away the pain. I remember your face and the way you joked and smiled, behind my smile is a broken heart. Some say that there’s a reason or than time will heal but neither change the way I feel. I can’t get over losing you no matter how hard I try, when I wake for a fleeting moment I still think that you’re there. You were so wonderful and thoughtful which makes it all the harder to live without you. No one will ever know how much I miss you. I just want to put my arms around you. I never got the chance to say goodbye so I’d like to thank everyone who came here today to help me give you the send-off you deserve. You may be gone but never forgotten.” Maurice rushes out of the church and breaks down outside as the guilt takes over him.

TK is laid to rest beside the sea with a release of butterflies. Sorcha stays by his grave as she continues to deal with his passing. Priscilla assures her she’ll get through it and that she’ll be with her every step of the way.

EPISODE FIVE 17/24:

Dan sets about taking down the ‘Missing’ posters when he finishes his night shift at the taxi rank. Across the Square, sorcha lies awake in bed unable sleep. Mona makes a quiet return, not wanting to be seen by Phil. She enters the Vic through the back with the spare key she borrowed.

Bevis makes breakfast for the Masoods as a thank you for putting him on their sofa now Fatboy’s in Ibiza. Joyof_pat is eager to get started in her new job and arrives early. Bevis lets her in and it’s not long before she makes her presence felt saying that the place needs a woman’s touch and checks that the food he has prepared is halal.

Sorcha throws up again but blames it on the lack of food she’s eaten since TK’s death. Maurice brings her round some breakfast but she says she doesn’t want his charity. He insists on helping her but she shoves him out of the house. Worried about her, he calls Priscilla and asks her to check on his former fiancé.

Shirley thinks there is a burglar in her Gutter and whacks them over the head with a baseball. She’s relieved and surprised to see it’s only mona. Thinking she’d left the country, she asks mona what she’s doing with her spare key. Mona tells her she took it by accident and that Phil made her leave the country. She also tells that she tried to get inside info from Lawson but he wouldn’t give anything away. Shirl persuades her to clear up last night’s mess failing to inform her of her reprisal.

Also tonight, Vaslav’s posts an apology thread to get people back onside as well as confirming that thismorningfan and benbenalen aren’t the same person. Michael spends his day using the various women in his life as puppets but Janine’s having none of it. Sharon and Phil continue to quarrel. Los.kav worries that he’s getting to close to Lauren and rejects her calls. Klendathu calls around to Poppy’s and is worried that Fatboy’s absence has exacerbated her eating problem when he sees her doing sit-ups on Dot’s sitting room floor, he leaves before he leaks.

Joyof_pat is happy to see David entering Carol’s house with a single flower when she takes Kamil for a walk. Blue_angel’s head is turned by the charismatic male, jop tells her to put her tongue back in her mouth she’s dribbling. Janine is amused to see Michael entering crooked solicitor RedHood’s office, when she sees vald passing she asks how dullagj2 is. Lauren knocks on Toni’s door, her plan to pretend that she’s out is foiled when Zack arrives home and lets Lauren in.

Dan’s nightmare is far from over when he sees Scrabbler putting up more posters and inquires what it has to do with him. Scrabbler tells him that he owes it to someone and that the police are conducting a full investigation. Dan says he saw some ASBO teens taking them the posters last night, “Kids these days, eh.”

Lauren tells Toni that it wasn’t her fault and that she’s getting the help she needs now. Zack is worried by Toni’s quiet and distant façade and pleads with her to open up to him, “You used to be so bubbly and the life of the party, now you never leave the house and you’re cold, distant and depressed.” A tear trickles down her face as she watches Lauren return home, Zack grabs her and tells her to get a grip. When she yelps in pain, he rolls back her sleeve and sees the series of cuts she has inflicted upon herself.

Priscilla is alarmed when sorcha collapses and takes her to Dr. lotty worried for her health. Lotty subscribes her some sleeping tablets, tells her to start eating if she wants to have a healthy baby. Sorcha’s face drops, not realising that she didn’t know Lotty tells her that she’s 6 weeks pregnant.

Mona enters R&R holding her head, still sore from earlier, but she’s determined to give Phil a shock. She wishes she hadn’t when she walks in on Phil and Sharon making out on the desk. Elsehwhere, dan’s on another late shift. With pictures of Emily everywhere, he has flashbacks of the night she took him hostage and subsequent events. BANG! A drowsy dan awakens from the bang but what has he hit?

Duff duff: Denny lies unconscious on the road.

EPISODE SIX 18/24: (45 mins)

Sharon awakes in the chair adjacent to Denny’s hospital bed. She strokes his gold locks while praying that he’ll be ok. The doctors come around to inform her that her son will be entering the operating theatre in an hour and that they’re hopeful he’ll be fine once the brain surgery has been completed. A teary Sharon holds back the tears, unable to contemplate the pain of losing another ‘man’ in her life. She’s glad to see Phil when he arrives at the hospital with some of Denny’s things.

Meanwhile, dan is at the police station. After a night of thorough questioning, he has been released on the condition that he doesn’t drive any vehicle. He calls Bevis to come and collect him, feeling that there’s no one else he can open up to. In the Butcher’s house, Morgan is upset about news of Denny’s accident and Bianca decides to keep the kids off school. The crash has also brought back painful memories for Bianca who reminisces about her former friend, Tiffany. She tells them all about her and how she named Tiff after her, she omits the fact that Tiff’s granddad was the one who ran her down.

xTonix is still locked in the bathroom after last night’s revelation. Zacks begs her to come out afraid that she’ll do something stupid. Zack says that he wants to help her and asks why she does it to herself. Toni unlocks the door and slouches down beside him, “It makes me feel better so I keep doing it. The more upset I am, the more I seem to do it. I feel in control even though emotionally I’m weak and vulnerable.” Zack says it must she tells him that “the pain and blood doesn’t seem to bother me. I’m like a druggie getting their next high or an alkie getting their next drink. I’m not hurting no one but myself.” Zack comforts her as she cries into his chest, unsure what he should do next.

Mona is still shaken from yesterday’s events and Shirley offers her a coffee as she sits outside the café. Mona deliberates whether or not to tell her what she saw in the club but she can’t keep it to herself. Shirl says that she doesn’t care and has moved on now but when she realises that this must’ve been at the same time as the accident, she’s quick to spread the gossip. Michael’s plans to use TheRedHood in his twisted plans are thwarted by his lack of finances so he decides to manipulate the women in his life to get what he wants.

Also tonight, Vaslav’s falling out of love with DS now that he works as a MOD he doesn’t want to spend his spare time reading and posting on the forum. Masood isn’t impressed to find joyof_pat watching Emmerdale and tells her that she can go now, Carol’s on her way round to watch a Bollywood film. Klendathu seeks advice from IanMandy over his Poppy dilemma, IanM says that he should invite her to Scarlett’s for a meal. With the stripclub returning to a nightclub, Mr. Ender is forced to live life on the streets. Los.kav is overcome when he sees someone in the same position he found himself not so long ago and offers him a warm drink and a sandwich.

Dan apologies to Bevis and says that he knows it wasn’t him who put up the missing posters. He tells him all about the investigation and Scrabbler. Bevis is sympathetic but tells him he’s a pilchard for driving while drowsy. Dan worries that he’ll lose his job now that he’s likely to be banned from driving and that he won’t be able to afford the rent on the flat. Bevis quips that he should’ve thought about the consequences of his actions before he acted like a psychopathic moron, “Any other person would’ve tried to call someone or made a run for it,”referencing the night he killed the troll which has caused him to have sleeping problems.

AngelicPrincess is elated to finally be discharged from hospital but her elation is dampened by news of Denny’s accident and she makes sure to visit Sharon before her hubby takes her home. Sharon is grateful for her kindness. Phil wants her to come home and get some rest but she reiterates that she ain’t budging. Dot arrives at the hospital overwrought with guilt but Sharon isn’t having any of it and tells her that she’s got the touch of death, anyone that comes near her keels over. A teary Dot rushes home while a weary Sharon regrets opening her big mouth.

Michael invites all the girls to the pub for a drink; Alice, Priscilla, and Sez_babe. Taking advantage of their affection for him, he plays them off against each other further boosting his ego. Sez is put out that he has slept with the others but not her. When the others head to the bathroom, he tells Sez if she helps him get Scarlett, he’ll run away with her. Little does she know he’s said the exact same thing to the others. With them exactly where he wants them, he sets about the next stage of his plan.

Los.kav tells vald about the homeless person he saw which leads to a conversation about his journey and counselling. He tells her about the friendship he has formed with Lauren and his worries about it getting serious. Vald is shocked when he drops the bombshell that he used to be a woman but has been taking hormone tablets and got his breasts removed when he was 21. Vald says that she doesn’t have a problem with what he’s saying but that she needs a bit of time to get her head around it. She heads to the pub for a drink…

Dan offers to take Bevis to the pub for a drink as a ‘thank you.’ He doesn’t turn down the freebie. Dan is upset to receive a text saying he’s been suspended from work until further notice. Things go from bad to worse when he enters the pub, everyone stares at him as he orders the drinks. Feeling like a pariah, he says he wants to go home. “You’d swear you’d killed someone” Bevis quips. A drunk Vald tells him that she loves a cabbie and that Denny’s a little nightmare, “not your fault he ran out in front of you.” Others aren’t so forgiving, not least IanMandy who pours his drink over him and leaves.

Mona is furious that Sharon is getting away unscathed and urges Shirley to continue spreading the gossip and tell everyone what Sharon was doing when she should’ve been looking after her son. When she doesn’t mona hops onto the bar and informs everyone that Sharon was ****ing Phil while Denny was running loose. Conversation is rife in the pub with people debating who was in the wrong. Roxy texts Phil the latest but he doesn’t tell Sharon as she’s got enough on her plate.

Zack tries to get Toni to come out for a drink but she still won’t leave the house and he doesn’t want to leave her on her own. He decides he has to tell Lauren, she’s the only one who can get through to her. But when Toni sees him talking to Lauren at the Brannings door she assumes the worst. Has Zack betrayed her trust?

EPISODE SEVEN 19/24:

Zack wakes up at the Brannings after Toni locked him out last night. He thanks Lauren and Abi for their hospitality and heads over to Toni’s to have it out with her. In the Square gardens, stands klendathu who is repeatedly reciting his date offer to himself as he prepares to ask Poppy to dinner.

Breakfast is awkward at vald’s as she continues to come to terms with los.kav’s bombshell. He assumes that she wants him to find somewhere else to stay now but she tells him not to be so stupid, she’s from a different generation and she just needs a bit of time to get her head around it.

Sorcha is still trying to get her head around her pregnancy, Maurice is worried that he hasn’t heard from her since the day she rejected his breakfast. When he interrogates Priscilla, will she spill the beans? Scrabbler is surprised that he hasn’t heard from AngelicP since her release from hospital, he decides to pay her a visit with some champagne and flowers.

Also tonight, Vaslav’s thread voicing his objections to Scrabbler’s reign gets heated and he ends up getting banned, is his job on the line? Dan approaches RedHood as he’s his best hope of getting off scot free. Mo mouse dresses up as Geraldine in an attempt to get a drink in the Shirley Gutter, Shirl isn’t fooled and kicks him into the gutter. Ilovenicnacs is in need of some loving, the totty count has been almost non-existent since Tyler’s departure so she asks Repaired Arrow to set her up on a blind date. Lola skye’s distraught to find out her call centre is letting her go.

AngelicP is still angry with Scrabbler saying that he was more concerned about his own guilt never mind the fact his friend got hurt trying to save her life. He says that he’ll make it up to her and asks her back to work. She plays hard to get but can’t afford to give up her job. PrincessP is upset to learn she’ll have to return to the flower stall and sets out to prove her worth.

Vald has prepared dinner and a list of questions as she waits for los.kav to return from his retail therapy. He returns with news of dullagj2 who had a bad night and had to be admitted to rehab. That takes over the topic of conversation as their minds turn to their troubled friend. Vald says they should visit him but los.kav says he’s not allowed to see any familiar faces until he’s in recovery.

Priscilla calls round to sorcha’s to check on her. She promises she’s told no one but Maurice was asking a lot of questions. Sorcha is alarmed by the hold that Michael has over her, his incessant calling and Priscilla has to leave early because of him. When she leaves, sorcha stares at an abortion leaflet and the camera pans to a sticky post-it note with next Friday’s date on it.

Elsewhere, Zack still can’t get through to Toni and he worries how she’ll get by as she won’t leave the flat to get the things she needs. Lauren says he can sleep on their sofa again but she’s upset that los.kav won’t return her calls.

Klendathu is ecstatic that Poppy has accepted his dinner invitation. She arrives in a knock-out dress, klen pinches himself to make sure he isn’t dreaming. IanMandy gives him a wink as he tells the pair he’ll be waiting their table this evening. The night is going good as they both talk about their respective failed relationships until Poppy ‘accidentally’ pours her drink over her half-eaten dinner. Klendathu takes this as a cue to confront her and tells her that he knows about her eating disorder, Poppy fumes that he’s a stalking creep and he knows nothing about her, storming out of the restaurant he follows her.

He calls her to wait and hear him out as she walks swiftly through the market, her arms folded and shoulders hunched. He catches up with her in the Square gardens, talking about the time she collapsed he says he thought that she had confronted her demons. Poppy says she had but with Fatz’ departure and Mrs. B feeling guilty about Denny’s accident, it feels like her eating is the only thing she can control in her life.

EPISODE EIGHT 20/24:

Dan is like a zombie after another sleepless night. With finances running low and no income coming in, he sets about finding a lodger. Dan approaches Bevis first, everyone still staring at him. Bevis laughs off his desperation. Dan cries that he has destroyed him. Bevis retaliates “I don’t need to destroy you, you’re doing that all by yourself. Keep telling yourself that you did the right thing and you might start believing it.” Dan is further riled to see the flower stall vacancy has been taken by Tracey who already has a job. Making his way to the swings to sit glumly and stare at passer-by’s, he is shocked to see lotty has spent the night in her car.

Zack sits at Toni’s door and tells her that he won’t move until she lets him in, he’s paying the rent and has more right to be inside there than she does. Threatening to call the police, she softens and eventually lets him in. Dan is amused by the altercation. Zack tells her he didn’t tell Lauren and gives her a hug. He is appalled by the state of the place and heads out to get some cleaning products and a key cut, taking Toni’s key with him.

Impressed by PrincessPerfect’s work, Scrabbler offers her a job as researcher on the show and tells her she’ll be working alongside EEFanatic to concoct gripping storylines for the show. Angie P is happy to be back at work and is touched when the team make her a ‘welcome back’ card for her with a ‘No 1 Sharon fan’ badge attached.

Also tonight, Will vaslav return to DS or has his pride got in the way? Poppy goes shopping with her sister Tansy on her day off, klendathu continues to worry about her. Joey is alarmed when Abi takes in an injured toad, he wants to get it DNA tested to see if it’s a relation of Derek’s or has he been resurrected? Sharon’s upset when Denny wakes up frustrated and angry, Phil is concerned that she won’t leave his bedside. Lola skye’s search for work proves futile.

Micheal informs Janine that Danny and Lucy are working together to rip her off, he enjoys watching her paranoia as he continues to try to regain control of her psyche. Alice follows him around like a lap dog answering to his every whim, it’s worth it when he sleeps with her again that night as a reward on the condition she acts out his eccentric sexual fantasies. Billy tells Janine that he’s there for her but she doesn’t let her guard down.

Ilovenicnacs dresses to impress for her date but she is shocked to see its IanMandy. Mr. Ender takes desperate measures after a tough night on the streets and waits for someone to pick him up for sex. When a sleazy, old, middle-aged man lowers down his window, he tries not to retch and knows that beggars can’t be choosers. He reluctantly enters the car.

David notices that Joyof_pat has a thing for Masood. He approaches her in the Shirley Gutter as he continues to attempt to come between Carol and Masood. Shirley flirts with David and he enjoys the attention but says he likes his women a little less butch. David buys jop a drink and tells her they can work together to get what they want. Mona is upset when Shirley won’t give her job, using the excuse that she’s ‘leaving’ soon.

IanMandy spends his date talking about Mandy. He says that Ian was better with her, she brought out his fun side whereas Denise just patronises him. They were on an equal footing and had a mutual and strong affection for each other. She could’ve been a further matriarch and ran her own business, not like that sorry excuse for a woman Cora Cross who spends her days drinking and dishing out hypocritical advice. Nicnacs fakes a phone call in a bid to make a getaway, knowing no more about him than she did before their date. IanM says it’s ok, he gets a staff discount.

Lotty sees dan on the swings and goes over to him. He says he’s looking for a lodger “I’m banned from driving until the court case. Everyone is looking at me like I’m Adolf Hitler, who’s going to want to move in with me?” Lotty begins to sob and says that she’s having marriage difficulties, “My hubby blames me for our son emigrating, he says he would’ve found a job here eventually and we could’ve helped him make ends meet. I didn’t want him to go. I miss him every second of every day but who was I to get in his way? Unfortunately that’s the risk I took when I gave birth to him and gave him all the love in the world.” Dan asks her to move in with him and she gleefully accepts.

- Joey insisting that Abi get her new toad DNA tested to check that Derek hasn't reincarnated
