HOUR-LONG EPISODE
Michael creeps on Janine as she has her morning shower. Alice is unnerved to wake up alone and heads downstairs to see where Michael is. He closes down the laptop and tells her it’s time for the next stage of their plan…
Dan heads to the Minute Mart for some shoe polish ahead of his day in court and bumps into Bevis. An angry dan tells him he had a visit from the police yesterday, Bevis says he had nothing to do with it and tells him not to underestimate the power of a guilty conscience. Scared that dan will have said something to the police, Bevis asks Tracey to mind his stall.
Sorcha wakes up upset after a nightmare about TK’s murder. Unsure what to do about the new information she has acquired, she decides to sit tight and see if los.kav will redeem himself following last night’s debacle.
JOP is fed up of life is Walford and has decided to leave unable to watch Masood swoon over Carol any longer. Priscilla gets ready for Janine’s party at the Shirley Gutter, will she be able to go through with it?
Also tonight, Phil asks Sharon to move in with him but she says she’s not in the right state of mind to start a relationship. Dot is alarmed to find Poppy’s dinner in the bin. Bobby is shocked to find out that David Wicks is his uncle. Zack continues to clean the bathroom and orders a new bath. IanMandy is happy to see Mandy’s phone number is still in Ian’s contacts. Mona urges Shirley to get back with Phil before Sharon sticks her claws in but she’s not interested and says she’s moved on, “You should too!”
A downbeat Sorcha goes to visit TK’s grave. Elsewhere, Bevis rushes home to move the doorstep from under his bed afraid a police house call is imminent. Lotty accompanies dan to court, JOP wishes him luck as she heads to see Masood one last time. Michael is perplexed to see Sez entering Janine’s house, what is she up to? Michael walks swiftly back to the house to listen to the conversation.
Bevis is in the process of moving the doorstep when Tracey phones him to say lotty’s car splashed through a muddy puddle and wrecked a load of his stock, a raged Bevis rushes to the stall leaving the doorstop in the middle of the landing. Meanwhile, dan’s nervous as he prepares to enter the court.
Michael’s anger boils over when he sees Sez telling Janine that he’s up to something and to keep the place locked until she finds out what he’s planned. Maurice worries about sorcha and heads to the graveyard to take her home.
Zack stops JOP as she enters the Masood house and is upset when she tells him she’s leaving. He says he could do with a friendly chat as he’s had a tough few days. She says she’s sorry but her cab’s on its way and she has someone she needs to see first….Inside the house, Masood is late for his rendezvous with Carol and not noticing the doorstep at the top of the stairs, he trips….
The court hears the evidence, dan is anxious as he awaits their verdict. Sharon’s death stares haven’t gone unnoticed, “If looks could kill,” lotty laughs. Elsewhere, Sorcha walks towards the sea unable to face a life without TK.
Michael asks Alice to drug Janine before the party and tells her they are leaving tonight. Sez interrogates Priscilla at the pub and she lets slip that Michael is taking her away with him.
JOP knocks on Masood’s door, hearing his cry for help she looks through the letter box and sees him lying at the foot of the stairs. Carol waits patiently at the Butchers and David is gleeful that he’s stood her up.
Maurice is horrified to see sorcha walking into the sea and rushes towards her…
Sez heads to Michael’s house, when she sees Alice she grabs hold of her and gives her a slap, “Grab a hold of yourself you stupid girl!” Alice stands dumbfounded as Sez tells her he’s been playing them all for fools, “He’s only interested in himself. He’s using us to do his dirty work.” Alice tells Michael to go to the pub so he has witnesses and takes Sez in the back door…
JOP taunts Masood through the letter box, saying why should she help him? He didn’t help Christian and has been whoring himself around the Square since Zee’s departure. She fires a series of insults at him and says she’s off to find herself a real man, “Sit there and think about what a douchebag you’ve been this past year. I’m sure Jacksy will be around soon to snog you. Ugh!” JOP says goodbye to Zack as he heads for the hospital and vald wishes her well saying she hopes to see her again one day. JOP hops in her taxi and noticing a glammed up Carol heading for Mas’ she sticks her head out the window and sticks her middle finger up at Carol, “Feck you, Carol Jackson.”
Sez is freaked out to find Alice’s bedroom covered in Michael pictures, one is his wedding picture with Alice’s head on Janine’s body but she knows she has to do this for Scarlett’s sake. Sez turns around to find Alice has locked her in the bedroom, looking out the window she sees her heading for the pub and cries for help. …
Maurice take his top off and swims frantically in a bid to rescue sorcha..
Dan is pleased not to receive a jail sentence as the judge imposes a one year driving ban. Sharon has to be held back by Phil as dan leaves the courthouse, “My son coulda died” she screams. Lotty and dan head to the pub for a celebratory drink, he fumes at RedHood when he sees his legal bill and tells him he ain’t getting a penny “You did nothing!”
Alice is upset to see Michael flirting with Priscilla and tells him to come with her she’s drugged Janine. As he heads out he sees Janine taking Scarlett to the Minute Mart in need of nappies. Alice says his game is up she’s going to tell Janine everything. In a panic, Michael pushes Alice to the ground and heads to the Minute Mart, with her back turned Michael steals Scarlett and heads towards his house……
Maurice drags a wet sorcha from the water, and compresses her chest. He kisses her as she starts breathing, holding her in his arms.
Alice gets up from the ground and rings the police, Michael realises he hasn’t got time to flit the Square with Scarlett and heads for the roof of the pub in a desperate attempt to be with his daughter. As he brings her through the ginnel, and up the stairs he laughs that this must be how Ronnie felt when she stole Tommy.
In the bar, Priscilla is confused at Janine’s no show and Michael’s disappearance. Scrabbler is amused by a drunk vaslav’s antics but is gobsmacked when Gary walks in the door, “Bet you thought you’d never see me here again” he laughs. Angie drops her drink and orders him to stay away from her and asks IanMandy to take her home. Dan downs his pint unaware that Emily’s brother is back on the Square and he won’t stop until his sister is found. Janine and Alice rush to the roof….
Maurice takes sorcha home as night falls. Opening up to him she says that she can’t stay on the Square. “ I can’t pass the place he was killed every day, nevermind work inside that pub with all those bad memories. I want to move!” Maurice tells her not be annoyed by all the gossips “They’re hypocrites. They were all badmouthing you and Tk just before his death for the affair, hours later they were laying flowers outside the pub for him. They didn’t even know him, no one knew him like we did. Then, they come up with their half-hearted sympathy looking for the next bit of gossip. They’ll have a field day when they find out I’ve moved back in. F**k the lot of them, let them say what they want. Life is too short **chokes** to worry about what people think of you. You can’t please everyone!” Sorcha says it’s not them who are the problem…
Alice and Janine find Scarlett alone crying on the roof, Michael walks off into the distance defeated. Police sirens echo in the distance.

song, lotty helps dan and vaslav home. Sez stands with her head pressed against the window hoping someone will save her. Mas thanks Carol in the hospital and asks her to move in with him. JOP heads for Yorkshire. Zack talks to Toni at the hospital. Sorcha and Maurice drive through the Square, while Alice looks across the roof to see if Michael fell. Vald tries to get los.kav out of bed. Bevis can’t find the doorstop. Scrabbler’s uneasy with Gary roaming free.
Duff duff: Janine holds and kisses Scarlett.” It’s all over now! Daddy’s not going to hurt you!”
