Are there any more track meetings now that Cav could ride to try and nudge the selectors into picking him ?

At the moment I suspect he's not going to make the team.....

Good riding from Kenny. World Champion.

The polite nod between him and Laura Trott was funny and delightfully British.

Crikey.......Laura only finishes 2nd in the Elimination and drops down to 2nd overall......

You make that sound worse than it actually is. Hammer leads only on countback, so it's all to play for.

7 (out of 10) Olympic-class events done, 7 nations with rainbow jerseys. That is fantastic for track cycling.

It is good for the sport however much we enjoyed theBrit dominance in Beijing & London

Almost surreal seeing Trotty lose an Elimination. Great comeback for Kenny. He has been mediocre for 3 years & now he's World Champion again.

It has been a superb week or so for Boels-Dolmans - 2 big wins on the road, the hour record and now a world title for Katarzyna Pawłowska in the women's points race.

The elimination race took a lot out of Hammer. Still think Trotty has every chance of winning.

No, this is the end of the track season.

Trott hammers Hammer, puts in a big gap in places.

I missed the update on ES.......I think Trott finished 3rd

How far down was Hammer ?

Good show by Annette Edmondson there, seeing as she crashed just a few weeks before this comp.

The signs currently point to another jersey for Trott (now 14 points ahead with two events to go), but as the men's event proved, the points race will be a major factor.

Women's sprint quarters done in two, save for the clash between the Olympic and Paralympic (tandem pilot) champions, which goes to a decider!

Meares took it, so a repeat of London 2012 for both individual sprints is still on!

Kenny through to the 2nd round of the keirin directly, so no energy-sapping repechage for him.

Trott finishes third in the half-kilo, so she leads Laurie Berthon by 12 points going into the title-deciding points race.

I keep forgetting laura is 23 yet she has won so many medels

Kenny has qualified for the keirin final, so he's on target for another medal. Eilers rode that round like Hoy, as expected of a world kilo champion.

Levy looks to be in superb shape and is arguably the favourite for the title; defending champion Pervis didn't make the final.

Jason through to the keirin final.......

two upsets (well one I suppose, not sure Meares was favourite) in the first two legs of the women's sprint........we could be on for a China-Hong Derby Match in the final.......

defending champ Pervis is out of the keirin

Both semi-final sprint leaders are Chinese, actually.

And they're both through, so China are guaranteed gold and silver! Vogel vs Meares again, this time for the bronze medal.

Trotty doing the sensible thing, getting some points early and keeping a close eye on Hammer and Berthon.

YES!!!! Our fourth gold of the series, 8th medal in all. Clear at the top of the medals table!

Eilers takes it in the keirin - not the German I expected! Dawkins almost got him on the line and Awang bags himself another medal too.
