Any word On Rolland's illegal manoeuvre?

EDIT - Apparently...

Rolland awarded first place on fourth climb
Rolland, despite his tactics in the race for the two points at the top of the fourth climb, has been declared winner of the race to the line at the 51km mark.

I'm assuming Euskatel will be appealing to the race jury after the finish? I mean, Rolland's move was blatantly outside of the rules.

Hopefully... that was blatant cheating

£1300 for that ProForm TDF training bike. Anyone got one?

Looked at them last night. They look amazing. Alas, many of the reviews referenced all sorts of glitches and quality control issues.

I would have thought that in the long term Kreuziger was the man for them. Contador always struck me as the guy they had brought in for some quick success but not for the long term.

Contador has said today he is not defending the Vuelta, and will focus on next years tour.

Who's gonna ride that (la vuelta) for Sky?

I'd say there's a decent chance that Uran might be team leader for Sky at the Vuelta - he hasn't raced since coming 2nd in the Giro, so should be fresh if he's not injured.

Although it'll probably also depend on whether Froome or Porte decide to ride the Vuelta. Froome did ride both the Tour and the Vuelta last year

Not sure about who else will ride it, but Sky have a pretty decent roster so should be able to make a strong team - they have the likes of Dario Cataldo, Bernie Eisel and Christian Knees who didn't ride the Tour.

Boom, Sky hit the front of the peleton and everyone else sobs for mercy. Good to see Lopez doing a bit of work for once.

Ooh now this is getting exciting

If by some miracle Van Garderen stays out, would the 50 points make him the winner of the King of the Mountains?

Edit: Never mind, Van Garderen doesn't have a hope of beating the Sky train to the top of the Col!

It would be fantastic if Chris Froome was setting it up for Richie Porte, there's no-one I'd want to see win this stage more than Porte!

Pure class if he does. It does kind of look like he's riding for him at the moment.

Woohoo Rodriguez is on the podium as it stands, and Contador is not

I can forgive them all for riding off on Richie Porte as long as they ride Contador off the podium And Porte's getting a nice free ride up the mountain, which is good.

I don't care which of the top 3 win the stage, they're all class acts.

ITV commentators are terrible, they're getting so much wrong! And so slow at picking up other developments, took them a long time to figure out Valverde was in front of Contador, something the TV pictures were telling us already!

you again TV commentators are just sublime and have more knowledge of cycling and the TOUR than most anyone on TV. or here for that matter. ok tthe odd mistake , but big picture they are streets ahead of most ego based commentaors.

I have to defend the ITV team as they can do no wrong in my book.

Sorry mate, but we agree to disagree again.
