Kittel.....................

Did cav's bike wobble just before the line ?

To be fair Kittel has been the best sprinter in the Tour

The cobbles seemed to affect Cav's back wheel more than the other two.

But at that point it was in the last 3k, so he would have got the same time as the winner surely?

Absolutely brilliant Huge congratulations to Froome and to all of Team Sky.

Disappointing sprint for Cavendish - OPQS were a mess, the lead out was not organised well enough and they were in the wrong position on the road. Funny how with a whole team supposedly organised around him Cavendish doesn't win it, whereas the Sky train last year led him out perfectly! Maybe all his complaining last year was misplaced...

Great sprint from Kittel though, the new force to be reckoned with!

Yes, that's correct. They protected Froome up to 3k as rightly so.

No, once he was inside the last 3km then everyone gets the same time on a sprint stage, so if he'd fallen it would have been irrelevant.

As it was, nice to see all of Sky crossing the line together, glad they managed to get that organised amongst all the chaos!

Froome... Incredible.

Great for Britain... Great for Africa... Great for cycling!

Roll on TDF 101.

I re-watched the climax of last year's final stage earlier in preparation for today, and during the podium presentation the commentators were speculating about whether Chris Froome would 'one day' be a TdF winner.

Hasn't taken him long

Sad for Cav... But Kittel is a machine.

It's been a great Tour............one of the best

well done Froome and the Sky team

Quintana and Rodrigues for enlivening the mountain stages

Cav, Griepel, Kittel and Sagan for terrific sprint finishes..........

It feels like we're seeing a changing of the guard ............with young riders coming up in the sprints, in the mountains, on GC.................bodes well for the next few years

Haha that Sky team procession in actually cost them 30 seconds! 30 seconds worth using though, what a great picture
