Some small compensation as the British girls get 7th and 8th in the keirin, so decent world ranking points.

Jason Kenny now in the men's final. Matt Crampton gets 8th overall.

Kenny gets silver behind Max Levy, who was the guy beaten by Chris Hoy in the Olympics.

Next up, medal ceremonies and the Madison, with Doull and Dibben going for GBR.

Don't forget Kenny pipped Levy in the 2013 World Champs to get the rainbow jersey he's wearing now. Whether or not the bands will change hands in Cali next year is another matter though.

Late attack from the Brits in the Madison, I think they have gained one lap but need to get another.

I wondered what some of the post race interviews over the weekend (in 'foreign', guessing dutch) were on about when they mentioned Manchester.

Most likely the World Cup in November as those count towards rankings for the next Worlds, but before that there's the 1st Revolution series also in Manchester this Saturday 26th October.

Hopefully both will be available on free TV in some form. ITV4 covered last season's revolution series IIRC.

To qualify for the Worlds you have to participate in at least one of the World Cups, and since nobody wants to go to Mexico....

Three races; the last only 54 riders, lapping a short circuit, over ITT distance .

It marks the final race for Jean-Francois Pescheux: http://inrng.com/2013/10/pescheux-to...rt/#more-17207

Probably won't happen. It looks like it is all about chasing the money in civil actions.
