Olympic champ vs World champ for the bronze...just like the men's bronze clash in the Euro Track Championships a fortnight ago.

Just saw Pervis in the keirin ride the last 200m in 10.019 seconds. (!)

Regardless of Kenny's poor tactics (better to make a mistake here than in the Olympics/World Championships though), that was an impressive win by Pervis (10.022 for the last 200m).

Should also give a special mention to the Minor Final winner (Glaetzer), who did the last 200m in 9.988. Sub-10 flying 200s outside the qualifying round of the sprints are rare at sea level.

Isn't that still over 2 and a half years away? Anything can happen in that time, including a few Worlds.

Hope James, Varnish, Mears and Vogel are in top form for the next Worlds, it would be great seeing them battle it out knowing they were all at their peak. The Olympics takes too long to come around.

Jason Kenny didn't get past the qualifying rounds for the sprints this morning only 24th out of 40 - needed to be top 16. Matt Crampton was 10th, Robert Forstermann first. Laura Trott finished second in the omnium elimination race, so is 6th overall with three events to come.

Laura Trott posted the second fastest time in this mornings pursuit and has moved into third in the Omnium standings.

Trott's time was faster than the time that Joanna Roswell achieved in winning gold in last nights race.

Laura Trott wins the omnium scratch race.

Laura Trott now leads the omnium by three points with just one event to go. She has 18 points with Carleton of Canada on 21 points. Only the 500m time trial remains.

It's not been a great weekend for Kenny. On the other hand, Crampton is having a good run - he'll be racing against Phillip in the semi.

The quickest qualifier by some margin was Foerstemann, riding 200m in a storming 9.799 seconds (fourth fastest ever at sea level); the way he's going, he might become World Champion in 4 months time.

Should close it out, can't see her being worse than third in the time trial.

Managed to gain a lap on all the others.

Would have been nice to see more than a few seconds of it on the TV coverage but some probably like all the gabbing the presenters do, though it's good to see Queen Vic back.

Edit: Trotty wins the 500m TT and gets the gold medal. Fabulous. Shame Sarah Hammer (current World Champ in the Omnium) isn't competing as it's good to see the best against the best. Maybe at the next Worlds.

Nice for Armstrong to offer to testify with 100% honesty. That's as good as telling us he's not to be trusted in anything that's gone before. I don't know how the authorities could credibly use his evidence to punish other riders or 'doctors'. Should they take him up on the offer or dismiss it as a face-saving publicity exercise?
