I think its more than just media talk from what I've read!!

I think Sky and Froome would look silly if they didn't include Wiggins now.

He's riding beautifully, and you need a plan B if anything happens to Froome and commercial considerations too.

Expect Bradley to save a bit of energy for that TT though

From what I gather from listening between the lines I do think that these pro cyclists hold grudges for a very long time

Sean was saying yesterday that he fell out with Roche over an incident in a Paris-Tours about 30 years ago and relations between the two great Irish champions appear to have been frosty ever since

There was an incident between Froome and Wiggins when I think Froome made a big show of riding away from Wiggo on a climb when Wiggo was in yellow and Frome was meant to be assisting him...........Froome was laying down a marker to say 'it should have been me'.........I think that's the kind of slight that leads to lifelong enmity in the peloton. These guys are on the edge anyway with the demands of the sport and they're in each others pockets day after day.........I guess it's easy for grudges to become entrenched

Yeah, I'll never forget that.

However, Bradley did say yesterday that he hopes to be selected for TdF and he is quite willing to act as a domestique to Chris so he can defend his yellow jersey.

So how long is tomorrow's Giro Stage 10? The official video and the plan differ: http://www.gazzetta.it/Giroditalia/2...l?t=10&lang=en

I have never seen Tour of Norway before. Who's the favourite to win?

Dunno who is in it this year, but in previous years this has been a Thor Hushovd testimonial race.

It's only a small continental race so there are no big names in it from what I can see.

Nacer Bouhanni doing well - three stage wins in il giro so far.

The Tour of Norway is a newish race.......this is only the 4th year

Boassen-Hagan has won it for the last 2 years. Hushovd hasn't won it !.....and he didn't ride in it last year as it clashed with 'California'. In fact he's never won a stage !

There is another stage race called the Arctic Race of Norway held in the north of the country in August which premiered last season and Hushovd won that one

Eurosport covered these races last year for the first time. They appear to be showing a lot of these smaller Continental races in the last 2 years

One thing I'm wondering - are all the main Eurosport cycling commentators multilingual? They seem to be able to translate French, Spanish, Italian, German, etc. all on the fly.

Rob Hatch is good......he seems to know all the languages. Most of them seem to know French. Good old David Duffield when he did all the races didn't know anything and Sean had to translate for him !

I think Hatch has risen to the top as they've tried out half a dozen commentators since Harmon went walkabout........he appears to be the number one now. (I expect he'll get the Tour to confirm his position)

LOL, I'd love to hear Sean Kelly speaking French with an Irish accent.

I find his pronunciations of some of the riders' names hilarious.

Individual Time Trial today in the Giro - surely a Cadel Evans benefit.

I'd like to see a Wiggins/Froome showdown on the TDF.

Wiggins making time in the TTs and Froome up the mountains. Rest of time both in the pack with their team doing the hard work. Why can they not both be in with a shout, best man wins, even if it means racing to the line in Paris?

Because the domestiques can only effectively support one team leader.

What Wiggins did in the final climbs in California is not on the same level as Froome when he dropped Nibali and finished with Spilak in Romandie.

In the mountains, Wiggins will probably take the role Rogers played with Porte in his 2012 win. Set a stiff pace at tge front up the climbs but have little left for the final ramp. That is what he demonstrated he could do well at California.

Last year Froome burnt his teammates GC chances on the run in to the Ax-3-Domaines finish. The next day Movistar broke Sky and isolated Froome at the front.

This year Valverde and Contador have started stronger whereas Froome has had a couple of health blips. It will be a harder race for him to win so more will be demanded from his team.

Surprising margin today for Uran taking one and a half minutes off Evans. Last year he was a minute behind Evans in the first Giro ITT.

Ian Stannard talking about his back injury - probably out for the season.

I think Sir Bradley will be in the TDF team and all will be fine and dandy till the time trials start and Wiggo has a commanding lead over Froome
then I believe the gloves will come off and we will see some major in fighting within the sky team... resulting in Wiggins retiring from road racing at the end of the season possibly even after the tour.. and turn back to track cycling

Reminder.......early start on Eurosport

Today's stage should be starting shortly

Mountain stage today with 3 big climbs and mountain top finish

Kicking off now, Pozzovivo and Quintana on the attack, Duran Duran and Evans struggling.

Looks like the attack has not been decisive, they're only taking back seconds, not the minutes they need.

Here we go again - the cycling will have to be squeezed in between bits of tennis.
