don't know if it's me but the commentary on this is awful. They hardly seem to have done any homework on Yorkshire, but also this guy comes across as really patronising, like no one would ever know much about Yorkshire
ITV takes the world feed so the commentators are talking not just to us Brits but the Americans, Australians and probably other countries, too.

right, this has been bothering me all afternoon so I want an answer!

What does the number 2 indicate in the top left corner? I know the 1 is distance left but been trying to work out what 2 is! thanks!

It's the different groups of riders.

Number 1 is the lead group and their distance to go to the finish in km. Then number 2 is the second big group (in this case the péloton) and their distance behind the first group in time. You can see 3 and 4 sometimes.

1 is the distance remaining for the first group, 2 is the time gap to the second group.

Bad new for everyone who has set their video to ITV - you are going to miss the end of the race!

Last few years there has been a map on the official site with a yellow dot ponting out where the riders are on the course. Can't find it today. Anyone got a link?

I wonder when ITV are getting the rest of their channels on Freeview HD. ITV4 is only SD.

Fair enough. It just doesn't look as detailed re villages and towns etc as in the past.

Thought there might have been a more detailed one.

Thanks to all who have replied.

If only it were that simple. For example BBC 4 is in HD but not all transmitters carry it, I will have to move county to get it !
