Biggest hint yet by Mourunho that Kevin De Bruyne could be on his way out.
At today's press briefing... "He is a fantastic player with fantastic potential. I don't want him to leave but we have a couple of contacts made by other clubs. But, if people think they can get our good players on sale, the sales finished in London yesterday." In other words, you can have him..but we want a sensible price. It's a pity, I haven't really seen enough of him to make any real judgement. But there were some good reports about him from a couple of posters last season ? |

He is a great player, but it's the age old problem that hazard and oscar are better.
I would keep him as the new frank, and get rid of Essien instead. But it looks like we could sell Kdb for 25m, mata for 35m and luzia for 30m That's 90 million! |

KdB won't go for anywhere near that price.
Anyway, he should be in CM. Another wasted signing if he doesn't get a chance with us. |

I guarantee Mata and Luiz will still be here by the end of the transfer window. There is no way we wold make such radical changes in such a short amount of time.
It may be better if people on here stopped listening to the media so much. ![]() It would take a massive foreign bid to sell him in January. Next window maybe. |

Jose has said he wont be buying a striker this transfer window, i guess that will mean our dealings will probably be next to nothing.
Oh well, to be honest im not that worried about our squad, its much stronger than in previous years(since Jose was last year IMO). We just need a bit of luck to kick on and go on a good run i think, if our strikers start scoring 1-2 every game we should be able to do that. They just need to hit a bit of form. Perhaps not rotating as often as Jose has will help - but then the question is who is our best striker? Surely we can discount Ba, but its a toss up between Eto'o and Torres for me. |

I wouldn't necessarily discount Ba as our best striker. The thing with him is since joining us he's never been afforded a run in the team. I think if he'd played anywhere near as much as Torres he'd have a better goal return than him. Would be interesting to see what the goals per minutes ratio is for the three of them, although I'm sure Torres will be the one trailing the other two. |

Chelsea FC verified
Team v Derby: Schwarzer; Azpilicueta, Cahill, D Luiz, Cole; Essien (c), Mikel; Ramires, Oscar, Willian; Eto’o. #CFC Substitutes v Derby: Cech, Kalas, Terry, Baker, Hazard, Mata, Torres. #CFC Amazed that Jose has put out such a strong team, i guess he wants it over and done with. Lets hope we can march on. |

No reason not be put out a strong team, seeing as we don't play again till next weekend. Fingers crossed we can win at the first time of asking.
Is Bertrand still injured or completely out of favour? |

He's back from injury, but completely unfavoured. Can see him moving on loan this month.

Decent win in the end, and another clean sheet. We improved after Hazard came on. Bit of a surprise Mikel scoring again.

Yes a comfortable win in the end and another goal by Mikel.
But what does Mata have to do to get a game? Thought he would be subbed on in the second half. Love the guy but think it's time for him to move on if he wants to play regular football. (as long as it's not a premier league team)

Yes, definitely. Mata is a fantastic player but i still think Rooney is just that little bit better. Also we need a top quality striker which Rooney would give us. Straight swap, i would definitely say yes.
Dont think it will ever happen, cant see Man Utd letting Rooney ever go to a rival. He is their best player and has been for some time(since Ronaldo left IMO) |

(as long as it's not a premier league team)It's up to Mata to fight for his place. Forget the last 2 seasons, they are the past, it's all about now, and right now we are involved in a title race, something we haven't been involved in for a while now. Look at Joe Cole, he fought throughout his whole Chelsea career and Mourinho loved him for it. If Mata throws in the towel and asks to leave then i won't stick up for him anymore, i don't have time for quiters. Quote:

You're mad, sorry but it's true.
Mata is a superstar, Rooney will only get worse in the next few years. Mata is worth 2 Rooneys. Not much bloody good to us if Mourinho doesn't rate him though, is he ? If we can get a good deal, I'd say sell him. It's not fair to have such a great player warming the bench every week, he's done nothing to deserve that kind of treatment. |
