If it was Chelsea it would have been because Jose "parked the bus" or played "anti-football"and it was all parts of Jose's plan to ruin football.

But since it was nothing to do with Jose, I am guessing there was some wonderful plan to use him to play some amazing breathtaking football behind it

I think city have proved just how hard it is for UK clubs to beat Barcelona.

Indeed, although we've beaten better Barca sides than the current team. Which is why we should be given more credit for the effective way we play against them, but won't be as rival fans love to witter on about us "parking the bus"….

I wanted them to lose. The longer they keep struggling in the CL the longer they won't be in the 1st pot of seeds and will continue to find it hard-going.

They're already going to have a few rearranged league fixtures anyway later in the season. The postponed one from last week, plus the ones they were due to play on COC Final and FA Cup Q/F weekends ( plus another one if they reach the S/F too). By the time we've played our next 3 league games we will have played 3 games more than them, so we really need to win them all to put pressure on them.

I will be even happier if Luiz is moved into midfield to play alongside Matic.

I wish our fullbacks were more involved in our build-up play...too often our AMs get marked out of the game.

We bring on Torres, Everton bring on our first summer signing (I hope).

Matic is a beast.

John Terry has definitely been our player of the season so far. Still top of the table - woohoo!

So obvious we need a top class striker but saved by JT in the end. Massive 3 points.

Not a great match to watch but a great 3 points in the end. Need a striker in the summer big time.
Agree JT has been immense this season, hope he gets a new contract because he deserves it.

Ive been saying we need a striker all along, still we won today which is the main thing. We continue to grind out results under Jose, and are still top of the league.

Can we win it? I really dont know, but im praying we do.

As everyone is saying, we badly need a striker. I thought we played ok, but Everton defended well and sometimes you have to give the opposition credit. But we can't rely on set pieces, long range shots, or a piece of magic from Hazard in every game. We need someone in and around the box who constantly poses a real threat. A player like that creates openings for other players even if they don't score themselves. I actually thought Eto'o had a very good first half, but he's no longer the goal machine we really need.
Oh to be able to turn the clock back, can you imagine Drogba playing in front of Hazard, Willian, Oscar etc ?

In a few weeks Rooney will be "Unsettled" again, cant we offer £350,000 PW in the summer?

We could, but would we really be that stupid ? Rooney isn't worth that much a week.

Who has everyone's player of the season for Chelsea been this season ? It's seems that most people are saying Hazard but i wonder why. It's not like Hazard has been amazing, he has had periods where he has been great, but surely Terry has been our player of the season so far. He has been consistently excellecnt, the best defender in the league this season i would say.
