Why the f did Ivanovic just take a free-kick? I can't remember him ever taking one before.

The movement is nice, but the passing is more miss than hit so far.

You are my last chance of seeing someone that I don't particulary hate as much as the other title contenders win the league, please go on and lift the title!

It seems strange to me, that you are a point clear at the top of the league, at this stage of the season, and yet your manager is saying that you have no chance of the league title!
Yes others have games in hand, but surely it is always better to have the points? I can see the benefit of trying to dampen expectations, but surely he will have to admit that his side are in the title "race" sooner rather than later?? |

Comfortable performance from our boys today.
I'm so happy for Salah. Happy for his performance and happy for his goal. Same for Willian too. THIS is what I want to see from our AMs more. Also, LOL at Hazard denying Luiz the chance of taking that FK; very cheeky of him.

I would normally agree. But even if we win all our remaining games, Man City can afford a loss (or two draws) and still win the title. It's theirs to lose really. Their goal difference also gives them an extra edge, if it were to end up that close.
Then there's Liverpool of course.... ![]() I still think it is terribly close indeed at the top, and you are very much still in the hunt for the title, surley anyone who is clear at the top of the league at this stage of the season has to be?! ![]()

But with Liverpool and City having to play each other in one of their remaining games, that does go somewhat in your favour does it not? In so much as, one of them, (if not both) will have to drop points in that match, which if you win your match on the same match week, could lead to you being in a better position than one of those two would it not?

Our own fault, getting nothing at all from those games against Villa and Palace probably ended our hopes.

I don't see the fuss about Jose's comments. He doesn't think we can win the league and I agree, If we was all on the same number of games I would be very confident but that's not the case sadly, we can run through all sorts of situations but the only one that matters is even with us winning all our games it won't make the slightest difference. There are far to many outside factors that are beyond our control to consider and combined with our ability to drop very silly points for me it's just a very small step to far, I don't see the problem with a dose of realism from my manager then the stuff we hear from Wenger

I cant see how your ruling yourselve out of winning the title.
I cant see us winning all our games all good runs come to an end...I hope it doesnt but you have to look at it realistically. We still have yourselve and city to come to our place. |

For me I only see City in it. They are the team I would say are as closest thing you can get it football as a sure thing of being capable of going on a "title run". Chelsea can go and beat Liverpool 3-0 then go and lose 2-0 to Cardiff and for me even with Liverpool's attacking threat their defensive play needs some work and inexperience at going for a league title at the business part of the season just brings them slightly short as well.

Yes we still have a chance but a very slim one. Ideally we need City to lose at Anfield and for them to draw/lose another game. Plus we need to win all our remaining games and with our consistency issues it's definitely City's to lose. I'm not too bothered if we miss out on the title this year. It's clear Jose has been working towards next season and the fact that we are still competing for the title with our problems (lack of ST and CM - although we slightly rectified this with the purchase of Matic) has shown how important Jose has been to us this season and we can only get better once we bring the right players in. If I had a choice, I'd prefer to see City win it but if Liverpool win then Rodgers has done one hell of a job!

Man City are in the best position. Personally I can see us dropping points at Upton park tomorrow. The thing about Liverpool I'd say is that our team look and feel like they want it more. Chelsea and City sometimes look like its a bit of a chore of they can't be bothered. |

Well there are lots of factors to consider. I don't buy this talk about our defence I think it's a bit of a myth. Yes maybe it's not as strong as say for instance Chelsea's but when Your attack is as potent as ours then it's not as importan and we've shown we can keep clean sheets. For Chelsea their defence is massively important because let's face it they aren't that great up top.

Possibly, but you have a mighty incentive to win your next two games. If successful that would leave you 7 ponts clear of Man City, a nice cushion even with the two games in hand they would have. Your biggest fear then would be our visit.
![]() What surprised me today were that both the Etihad and The Bridge had empty seats and the crowds just didn't seem up for it. Which I find quite odd. The 2 games that caught my attention in the run in were West Ham away because of the Allardyce factor and Palace away because of the Pulis factor. Main thing is we can't rely on our rivals dropping points and have to win them ourselves. Today I know how our rivals felt when Spurs rolled over last week. Stoke were bloody awful and made it much easier for Chelsea. Southampton I can't moan about but yet another dubious decision for Man City. Simple fact us we win our games we win the league. |

The A.Villa game was the biggest bummer, what do they do in their next 2 home games, lose 4-1 to Hull, then lose to Fulham.
