I have always not minded Hilario, He never really let us down badly when he been called upon, He knows his role and is happy with it. Glad we have given him another year has always came across as a good bloke (is Bloke on Liverpools banned words list if so I am very sorry), We are sorted for keepers this season at least

We have a young keeper coming in the next season or so, Who will either be number 1 or number 2 (depending on how well Cech is playing) so eitherway Blackman is still going to be third choice for the next 3 or so seasons. You can convice a player he going to get his chance for only so long. He plays number one for the reserves or goes out on loan it shows we rate him for the future instead of dumping him in the first team with no way of playing,

I suppose we are lucky in that we have two world class keepers on the books in Cech and Courtois, have Schwarzer and Hilario on the bench and blackman to come.

Hopefully thats one position sorted for the next 6 or 7 years.
