Nothing to get excited about for anyone who reads this before watching the match.

A win is a win.

I do not agree with fans who have said that friendlies do not matter in pre season (typically when their team has lost), players get into the habit of winning. Under Jose last time, the players went out knowing they were going to win - and they did.

More of this please.

I agree CB, we have won every game pre-season and last night against a decent side.

Winning breeds confidence, I am all for it pre-season.

Once again we are linked with Khedira.

Is he the answer to our dm problem?

Just been watching the Inter game. Comfortable win really. Oscar's goal was good, and great play from Moses to create the chance.

Moses and Oscar were very good. Ramires and van Ginkel looked comfortable together in the centre and Essien looked in good form when he came on. Quite happy with that performance.

He does seem to curl them into the top corner with that right foot of his!

Oscar is a wonderful player. I hadnt seen that much of him until he signed for us but he had a wonderful first season with us. His performances for Brazil were cracking too.

With Mata and Hazard getting all the credit (they deserve), i think Oscar will prove a tremendous signing.

Do we think Hazard will become the 4th best footballer in the world next season?

Yes, I think would be. Khedira would certainly be a vast improvement on Mikel, and we can't really be sure about Michael Essien..great to see him back, but can be maintain his fitness ?
Khedira may not be the dominating, midfield powerhouse we dreamt about signing, but he's he's a top class defensive midfielder with bags of experience at the highest level.
He would be an excellent signing, but I can't see RM letting him go to be honest.

Like Jose said, it's all about fitness. We even saw Mikel venturing up forward.

But what I did learn yesterday was that Chelsea TV always lie about the kick-off time!

Sky Sports..
"Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has hinted the team will adapt their style of play to suit striker Fernando Torres."

I do hope this is just Jose teasing the media, and making a few comments to bolster Fernando's confidence a bit..

I doubt that's true. Jose just likes to win

Either way this is why I'd be happy to see him go even without a replacement.

As long as we win I don't care if he sets up the team around Bill Blood

Cech; Azpi, Ivanovic, Cahill, Bertrand; Van Ginkel, Essien; De Bruyne, Oscar, Hazard; Ba.

Schwarzer, Cole, Terry, Ramires, Mata, Mikel, Torres, Moses, Lukaku, Schurrle.

De Bruyne back already which is good! Injury not as worse as expected?

Pleased to see de Bruyne back. Hope Schurrle gets some time as well.

Ba getting a chance to shine. Wonder if he'll take it.

Officially, 11:30. So, any time after 11:30. Probably closer to 12.

He's one of many who seriously need to step it up a gear (or 3). Essien and an Ginkel should be an interesting pairing.

Quality effort from Ivanovic
