Because those players was not worth the money. They had a couple of good seasons and was going at a very high premium. We can not keep chucking money around, We have done that for 10 years now and its got to stop. We have to look at our buys with our brains and not just excited at the latest football darling. We have had enough egg on our faces with signings I dont want any more.
Sixty million for Falaco? Not a bloody chance, Insanity. He is not worth that to Chelsea (taking wages into account as well). Now if you said thirty million, I would have looked at it and thought "mmmm", yea ok. But we have got to stop this scatter gun policy of buying players
