Ours went for a few minutes as well, then came back on an adult channel...wasn't me, honest.

Started ok, but after the goal we appeared to get careless. Gave the ball away a lot, defended too deep etc. I think we made them look a better team than they actually are.

Yeah yeah

I had to turn the power on and off 3 times before it came back. I was getting ready to ring Sky But all is well now (speaks too soon ).

Yep, great counter-attacking won us the match. Can't complain with a 3-0 away win.

Nice resounding win tonight. Good composure from Torres and Hazard with their goals on the break.

Steaua did us a favour by drawing against Basel too, which puts us top.

Bit sloppy at times but excellent win. Basel drawing as well

Much better second half. We kept the ball and pushed it around, I don't know why we allowed them to press us back so much in the first half. I don't mind hitting teams on the break, but I like to see plenty of possession, it's still the best way of preventing the opposition playing.

Just watching the Torres interview, he does appear a lot more enthusiastic. Who knows, fingers crossed its the start of a new period in his career ?

Great result and two goals from Torres, the second one was great from Hazzard Oscar and Torres. Top of the group now looking good.

Did they explain why their fans were in Blue, but they played in green?

It is interesting to see the debate in other forums and the media (thanks to AF's book) about who is the better midfielder, Scholes or Gerrard.

Of course, the correct answer is neither.

Great game from Chelsea last night. Torres really did have a storming game and was unlucky not to get a hat trick. Hazard also seems to be gaining in confidence every game now.

Best I can say is a profesional job.

Cech made some great saves and continutes to show why he is still our number 1. Still alot of work to be done but you can see snatches of what we are trying to do, Considering we have a team that bought for another manager we are doing well

There was definitely a difference in quality of the players we were buying (for a period of time).

Hazard
Oscar
Mata

These players are exceptional. Oscar will one day be the worlds best player.

The other players we have signed are quality, even if we didnt need them. Schurrle, Willian etc.

Sometimes they are the difference, and have dramatically improved the depth of the squad. So much that we could afford to let a play i rate highly (Moses) go to a rival.

Well yes but thats mainly because we was buying players for Pepe to manage and when he did not take the job we bought more recently "Jose" players. Both fantastic managers and would want top class players but would buy different players if given the same budget while working for clubs of simular size.

Fantastic away result.

Great to see an early goal but rest of the first half wasn't great. But I knew we'd come out fighting second half.

Lovely play from Torres, Oscar and Hazard. Cech as well had a great game.

I don't ever jump onto this 'torres is back' bandwagon, but he does seem very comfortable in Europe, has scored in 9 of his last 11 European games I think. And whilst I won't think he is 'back', until I see a fair few goals in the League, I am not complaining. He is hungry, sharp and a team player and Jose couldn't praise his worth ethic enough after the game. That will do me.

agreed heavenly, no one is suggesting hes 100% back, but for someone to state as fact that he wouldnt do anything of note this season was a bit crazy imo.

I agree. Jose seems to be bringing back that hunger, when Jose first came back, he wasn't waxing lyrical about Torres at all, I thought back then that there may be no place for him. But Jose has obviously been impressed with him in training and when he has played, he couldn't praise him high enough yesterday.

yeh i thought jose might cut him loose, but damn he is the special one, torres has fire in his belly and i expect another 20 goal season from him.

It was a great game by Torres, one of his best for us. He was unlucky to his the woodwork too, but the best thing was busting a gut to take a defender away for Hazard to score the 3rd (when the game was already over).

I would have loved to get in a top striker like Falcao or Cavani in summer, and was disappointed with Eto'o coming to the bridge.

However, Eto'o did score a strikers goal in his last game. Ba showed promise and heart when he played, and Torres performed last night.

I was now hoping to post the stats of Cavani and Falcao to show they are not performing for their new clubs, but unf:

Falcao. Played 9, scored 7
Cavani. Played 9, Scored 6
