Plus, rat-face Nasri is still on. Always does well against us.

Man City only have 1 win in 15 and have failed to score in 10 of those at Stamford Bridge.

Must be our away form that always has me worried when we play them

edit: Why the hell did I have to go and post that now?

Most of those fifteen games they might as well had been a different club though..

Cech was poor there, should have done better. Powerful shot though

Stunning goal. On their day, they are a fantastic attacking side. Big test for us now.

True enough. Can't remember if we've had them at home in any cup games since they became mega-rich so, probably only played them 5 or 6 times.

Not a great start t the second half so far.

It was just so quick and powerful though, barely saw it on tv, I thought it had gone in the side-netting at first.

Might be time for Mata to come on. Should expect a lot of free-kicks between now and the end of the match.

edit: Yeh, definitely time.

More comedy goalkeeping from Hart, looking like another away loss for them.

Terrible from hart there, but really pleased for Torres, great game today possibly his best ever for us. Nice touch the fans singing his name at the end too.

Great result and a great performance all things considered. Torres obviously stood out, especially in the first half, but I thought Ivanovich was worth singling out..outstanding today.
Very happy with that, not just the result, in my opinion our all round performance was excellent against a very good team.

Huge win. Would of taken a draw but Torres deserved that.

Well that was a great game to watch made even better by us winning. Torres was great today, especially in the first half. Brilliant win.

Great win today had just said to my Son Torres deserved MOM and all he needed to get it was a goal and then he scored.
Neville gave out the MOM to early

Excellent result for us, the team really put in a shift today. Good to see Torres working hard again and being rewarded with the winning goal.

9 games in and 4 points ahead of City, 6 points ahead of United. Very happy! Just hope we can keep it going!

How close to 100 matches is Mourinho's record for undefeated premier league matches at Stanford Bridge without defeat?
NinjyBear

I think it's currently 65 home league matches.

Yes, definitely his best game..in my opinion. He was constantly involved, the bad miss could have affected him, but he didn't let it get him down. He was taking on players, tracking back, and showed some real determination. He was like a man re-born !
I must admit, I'm bewildered. I'm certainly not complaining, but I would love to know what has caused the sudden change..and, more importantly, whether it's going to last.

Thinking about our COC game against Arsenal, we could line-up like....

Schwarzer
Azpiliqueta Luiz Cahill Bertrand
Essien Mikel
de Bruyne Mata Willian
Ba

....hard to believe that only a few months ago we regularly had a bench consisting of 4 defenders, 1 shit keeper, an 18yo and Benayoun.
