I was just going to say that Eto'o wasn't giving us much, and then he scores.
![]() Their defence looks pretty suspect, Willian and Hazard are ripping them apart at times. |

Swapping shirts at halftime? FFS.
Good half, anyway. Need to win this one after the draw at Arsenal. |

Good first half part from the dodgy defending for their goal. We look on top and good value for our lead. Liverpool disappointing for me but dont write them off yet, Suarez could easily get a goal out of nothing.
Also, on the shirt swapping, it is strange to see it in England, but it seems to be pretty common elsewhere in the world, so i wouldnt get too hung up on it. To me it looked like Sakho asking for Eto'o's shirt, and also i think Oscar swapped with Coutinho(not 100% sure) |

Great game so far. Apart from the silly goal we gifted them we're playing well and fully deserve our lead.

Hazard has been fantastic, but fair play to Willian, Luiz and Oscar, our Brazilian contingent have been excellent as well. Terrific saving tackle by Cahill too. |

Not great seeing Mikel come on as Frank is a goal threat, but hopefully we keep up the tempo. Willian and Hazard have put in the hard work as well as the fancy touches which has been good to see.

Eto'o and his comedy limp after he's spent the match playing destructor and targetting kneecaps, plus scoring
. Torres has some weird mental block with Liverpool, would be better bringing on Mata or Schurrle.

Yeah great win, well played boys, i think we deserved it. Liverpool diddnt impress me at all, werent that great. Keep Suarez quiet(which we did) and they are nothing special.
Nasty stuff at the end, i would have sent both Oscar and Lucas off. Lucas looked like he tried to gouge the eye of Oscar. As for the penalty, it probably was one if im honest, No idea what Eto'o was thinking. Liverpool back in 5th now shows how tight it is at the top. Our title challenge is well on now. I think its between us, Man City and Arsenal Not sure anyone else can win it. Man Utd quietly going about their business are creeping up on everyone, still think they are too far back to mount a serious challenge though, but should get top 4 pretty easily. |

Happy to win and just about deserved. No idea what Eto was playing at. Caused the first goal as well.
Luiz in midfield is his position. Shame he is now suspended. |

I've never seen such sour grapes as the opposition today. It's odd how they see every decision was against them.
Lucas should have been off for putting his hands around oscars throat. Willian and Oscar really worked hard today and the result was a great attacking display. Willian needs to be smarter with his final choose of pass or shoot though. |

And now I see the other thread is defending into threatening the sister of the referee today. It's only a game, I hoped for better from them. It only takes a few rotten apples to sour the barrel.
Yes it was a hard fault contest, the ref did well to allow the game to flow. He could have given a red for the elbow on hazard. Isn't amazing how no one is mentioning this? It also looks like Suarezs reputation is costing him decisions. No ones fault but himself. |

No. So if the ref thinks it's a dive, why no yellow for Suarez? |
