People who wave you across the road, then get pissed off at you for not crossing the road. The reason for the person (read: me) not crossing? They were completely unaware that there was a car in the other lane (two-lane one-way street) and I didn't fancy the thought of spending Christmas on crutches and with a cast on my leg.

My sisters double standards and selfishness. I know i will sound lazy but heres the typical scenarios

She asks me if she can come round and visit me and i say yes but i wont finish work until one. I say shes welcome to come after that and ask politely if she would mind picking me up on the way. She drives past my work so by parking just up the road it will save me a half hour walk in potentially the worst weather so far this year. Her reply "no, if youre busy i will come another day or come a bit later in the evening". Anything to get out of doing me a favour.

But her best one so far was when my partner and i were meant to visit my mum on a saturday evening but the day before he found out he had to work. Not a problem i rang mum to explain that i wouldnt be able to come and i heard my sister chirping up in the background "she can come on the bus. Tell her to get the bus". In the end mum offered to pick me up then my partner pick me up after.

The frustrating thing there is its a 20 min drive from house to house. A bus trip involves three buses and takes about an hour and a half in total when you add in waiting times and the fact its not a direct route. The worse part is my sister always moans at mum saying she shouldnt pick me up but she always gets mum to either do a 3 hour round trip to the train station to collect her for uni holidays because she doesnt like driving. Either that or she gets dad to do the 6 hour round trip in the car if she has things to bring, because she leaves her car at mums because she doesnt like driving it in the city!

So to her, me with no car is expected to make silly trips when she, with a nice working car gets ferried around everywhere because she doesnt want to drive.

People who change arrangements at the last minute to suit themselves with no thought for the other person -

actually, I've been out late all week, let's just meet for a drink and not bother with food (when you've nothing in for dinner because you thought you were eating out)

I'm running a bit late and won't make it into town now, why don't you just drop over to me after work and I'll cook us something (which means going home, getting the car, driving for half an hour, and not being able to have a drink)

I need to work late to get my flexi up. Can we meet at 8 instead of 6.30? (What am I supposed to do for an hour and a half while you work up a day off?)

Waiting for a delivery. Its very frustrating because i need the toilet but the main postman usually comes between half one and two so im cross legged waiting!

It doesnt take long to pee but i know that the second i start, the door will go and he wont hang around long to wait! But with the weather being awful he might be delaying his round, so i could be waiting hours.

And then theres the chance that although the estimated delivery date was yesterday, that it still might not come today.

I love films, I am utterly in love with music and have been my whole life.


YET, I, on every single layer of my being utterly and completely fecking hate musicals. I hate them so much its unreal. You would think I would enjoy them, I even enjoy theater (I KNOW!) and opera, but musicals I just hate. 7 Brides for 7 Brothers, hand me the bucket. Rocky Horror Show? pass me a gun and let me blow my ****ing head off!

No idea what it is, I just cannot stand the cheesy nature of them.

I find the obligation worse. You know when you get an unexpected card and feel obliged to send one back. Even worse if you receive it xmas eve then its obvious you only sent a card because you received one!

It never bothered me but ive noticed my nan seems to comment a lot about how she hasnt had a card from so and so, so im well aware that there are people who keep a mental list of who hasnt sent them a card!

Especially when received from people I dislike.

Was expecting a parcel delivered by Royal Mail, waited from 9am to 3.30pm, all the while wanting the loo. Decided the mailman wasn't coming, entered the bathroom, about 3 nanoseconds past the point of no return... KNOCK KNOCK........ KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK....... flutter (the "sorry we missed you" card landing on the mat).... :devil:

People who invite you round for a party then stick a film on the telly but then insist on chatting all over it so you can't hear it or the conversation for noise coming from both sides. Either shut the **ck up or switch it off so we can have a proper conversation. You can't do both!

I can't stand people who feel the need to have the tv on in the background then want to chat all over the film or people who simply can't shut up when something is on. My mum and my wife's parents do this every time we go round and it's highly annoying when you can't concentrate on the film for constant chitter-chatter. What is wrong with these people that they can't give their mouths a rest for 5 minutes.

Middle class spoiled brats with too much self confidence and cockyness because mummy and daddy have brought them up to have a sense of entitlement and a big mouth with a whole lot of attitude and self importance.

Just stood in my local kebab shop and two 11(ish) girls walked in (on their own with no adults present) all full of themselves barking their orders over the counter like they had every right to be there in their best 'daddy you WILL buy me pony' attitude. Complete with designer coat and UGG boots. Proper little madams they were. You could tell by the way they dressed and spoke that they were typical middle class pompous spoiled brats who no doubt are allowed too much of their own way. God knows what they're gonna be like when they get older as they're already 11 going on 20 something.

When I watch something and I'm interested in it, I almost mentally fall into the story so much so that I lose concept of time around me. I absolutely HATE being disturbed when I reach that state.
My wife, however, will constantly chime in with pointless questions and anecdotes about literally anything. After the third interruption I pause the film and tell her either to shut the **** up or take herself off to the bedroom and leave me in peace to enjoy it.

Trivial thing that annoys me intensely are broadcasters that mess about with the closing credits on programmes. ITV are the worst offenders. When a programme ends the credits are shunted to the top right corner and that means being unable to see who starred and contributed. This my opinion but it is a disease that is spreading across the channels

Yep, it's same when you're waiting for someone to ring you!

not if you're ok with talking to someone whilst sitting on the toilet.

(1) when you've left it too late so you can't edit your previous post and are now forced to post twice which looks most untidy

(2) when you're out walking, minding your own affairs, and your bits free themselves from your underware. You dare not reach in and put them back where they belong in case you're spotted by a passerby and wrongly labelled a pervert fondling himself in public. So you accept the situation and make a note to get some better fitting pants.

When you switch to a different breakfast cereal but in the old box theres enough left for 1/4 of a bowl. Too much to just chuck out but not enough for a proper bowl full.

People who've had more than their fair share of the conversation but talk over you as soon as you try and get a word in edgeways. They may as well talk to themselves.

What you do is next breakfast you have that 1/4 + 3/4 bowl of the new cereal and pretend you're that Hesta Blumentile(?) food mixturer-upper chap.
