I'm currently on Freeview and am interested in BT Vision. The problem with Sky is that it's too expensive (with broadband), whereas Virgin Media is nice but a) I need pause/rewind/record and the Tivo box is beyond my budget whereas V HD is not, and b) TV L is beyond my budget and many channels I like (inc. Comedy Central, FOX, Alibi) are either on TV L or XL, not M+ which I can afford.

But BT Vision has all these three channels as live/linear channels plus many nice extras like Nat Geo. Plus it gets BT Sport for free too! So, shall I go with BT Vision? Note that I don't care about on demand content and HD (don't really demand any of these two).

P.S. Don't mention TalkTalk TV because I was a customer years ago and it was absolutely terrible. Even if their new YouView TV service is good, their broadband is rubbish which is necessary for their TV, so no TalkTalk please.

I would recommend it to you. BT TV is fantastic, I have had no problems with the service.

and the bonus of BT Sports inclusive of the broadband costs is a bonus too.

OP, if you can get the channels over infinity then yes it is a good service. If all you have is the ever dwindling selection of rehashed on demand then it isn't worth it IMO.

The sports will be good though.

If your in an infinity area then yes if not no. With nt vision you'll pay £12 a month plus a bit for the live channels. There are lots of half price sky offers knocking around which will match their basic services or EE+ for about the same price.
