My cat will come and bug me in the kitchen or jump up on my desk and destroy paperwork. When i say "no!" to him he meows at me i say "i said no" and he meows arguing with me lol.
Does anyone elses pet argue with them?

Brooke has a quite plaintive quiet mew when she's not allowed to steal food off my plate or the catflap has imposed her curfew.
Unlike the load constant meowing she broadcasts around the house when she wants me to come to her and give her attention/food/dreamies

I have often considered getting an asbo against my cat Charlie.
Its almost like he doesn't understand a word I say.

I get the "why can't I have more chicken Mummy?" Miaow from Lola. Or the "why is that food on your plate and not in my bowl?" Miaow

My cat is indeed an arguer but he does it by sheer mass.
He's taken to lying at the small section separating keyboard to monitor. No matter how many times I move him off the desk, he'll just straight back up and squeeze himself back in there.

He does meow a lot in the morning when he wants out and I'm not up. He WILL go out Mum.

Constant back chat, talking and whining from mine. About anything and everything. I start it sometimes tbh.

If I don't do as mine wants, as well as the shouting, she has decided licking is now the quickest way of getting my attention as I recently rediscovered the water pistol and that put a stop to clawing of the furniture as a means of making me stop what I am doing. I do get what for sometimes, but I can give as good as I get.

Yes. One of mine always has the last word. Arguments can last quite a while as he never gives in!
