Can they do this, how closely related are the two?

They are also a bit soft too. I like 'em firm and fruity.

Well obviously the can because they are doing it. There are various shades of black/red grapes and I always considered that grapes were either called green or black with the black ones varying in colour from red to black. I cannot say it bothers me what colour they are so as long as they taste good.
I usually select the ones that look the best like I do all my supermarket purchases, the reason i prefer not to do on-line shopping, where you have little choice regarding quality

I love those huge black grapes with seeds in. I can't remember the last time I saw them though, they're all seedless now

Never seen any grapes sold as 'red'. Always 'black' or 'white' where grapes are concerned.

Really? Never seen red grapes? My problem is the black "seedless" with mouthfuls of pips. Yes Mr Tesco, I mean you.
