There's another 59 episodes to go before they appear

Kerry allowing Gabriel to talk her into the idea that she was raped by Smithy was really stupid.

However, the Gabriel stuff, much as I hated it at the time, is so hilariously watchable now. It's so funny seeing Todd Carty, who was Mark Fowler, the Mr Nice Guy of Eastenders, as this villainous creep.

In a few episodes time he delivers a verbal zinger to Kerry, when Kerry accuses him of ruining her life:

Spoiler
Quote:
“Did I force you to sleep with Nick Klein and Smithy? Did I suggest you marry a queer? Did I pressure you into having an abortion? Your life was a disaster long before I ever walked into Sun Hill police station.”

Was the point of the story about the clamper and the guy who destroyed the clamp a couple of days ago?? It disappeared into nowhere

As for yesterday's episode I fast forwarded as it was virtually all about Hunter and Nixon and Princess Pouty

Yeah me to, awful stuff

Todays episode was better, although how did Kent get all those people wearing balaclavas to beat up people for him , i dont remember a storyline which showed him involved with the guy with the shaved head before

With the editing quite often little links are missed which is more than annoying.

Have I missed something? The last episode I watched ended with Cameron rushing into the water to save to kids in a car. I just put todays episode on and it's gone straight into another story. Did they not show the rest of the rescue attempt originally or has it been edited?

You have missed an episode they did "Insensitivity Part 2" on Friday and it was repeated this morning , though I am sure there were a lot of cuts compared to the original because Part 2 seemed like it did not follow as it had done originally or maybe my memory is bad.

the editing is getting worse half the time it is pointless watching because the episodes are all over the place ,

Lynda Bellingham makes her appearance in today's episode, she was brilliant so hoping her episodes have not been edited to badly

Another episode spent mostly on Fast Forward, Hunters Brother (Yawn) and what the hell was all the crap with Kent and Pouty lips, that storyline should have ended before it began

Yep agree with this.

I can't really remember how Gabriel got his comeuppance the first time round but he's one of those characters that you love to hate. And pouty lips SL say no more!
What happened to Gina gunning for him and keeping her beady eye on him after her digging around and finding his birth certificate. ...because on the surface he's portrayed around the station as goldenballs ...can't wait for him to be exposed just don't fishy flaps young be the one to do it!!!

I know how he goes out of the show, But I can't remember the events leading up to him going all I will say is he gets his just deserts what a creepy character to play.

Fear not about PC Kent, only another....

120 odd episodes to go!

For those suffering for the first time, imagine just how much more tedious it was watching it at a pace of 2 episodes per week when it first aired.

The fight scene towards the end of yesterday's episode was badly edited

Gabriel knows about Gina's breath test results being fiddled and he told her he knows about it Probably why Gina's backed off a bit!

Okaro was an Army sergeant in an episode of Cold Blood on Monday night. I'd only ever seen him in The Bill before.

oooh curiosity got the best of me so just been reading up about it on Wikipedia. Shocking what he got upto and the aftermath he left behind in his reign of terror. Looking forward to it, i can see myself shouting at the tv like I was watching a panto mine villain hissing and booing and even shrieking he's behind you lol!!!
Took me a while to find out how he came to his demise so can see why another poster wrote how it must seem like an age if it was originally aired twice a week back in the day

I'm probably in the minority here but I loved 'Gabriel' Kent's storyline. Psycho-cop!!! As I said before, Todd Carty played the part really well.

Sometimes The Bill was on three times in the week it wasn't often that happened though. The Kerry story line I knew about the attack but forgot about what he did after that to be honest it was a bit bonkers but you wanted to know all the same I wish Gina would at the time get him out of the way & hit him where it hurts like she did to a gay basher in 2002 when she first came in. Austraila loved The Bill hence Cameron etc I have the box sets 2002 to 2006 I got from Amazon here imported from Austraila why didn't Freemantle release them here???? I'm up to about Drama episodes I think but like people here have said Drama edit them the dvd's I have are not edited I list my fave episodes to look back on at a later date when I watch them.

It looks like they're making Gabriel to be the serial rapist with him leaving the station with dodgy stomach around the same time as a rape and kerry receiving the fax so a little bit of a twist to the storyline. I like it.
