I watched one the other day. Why was Meadows in uniform? I thought he was head of the CID?

Was it on Drama or Watch? On Watch he is now Superintendent so he wears a uniform some of the time.

Good to see Gina giving Princess Pouty what for

Surely DC Thatcher wouldn't have been allowed to have anything to do with any case involving the Radfords as a matter of course given his history with them.

For all that parts of the current Drama run are ridiculous (I still can't believe the Madford HIV for sex storyline ever happened, amongst others!) when you watch the final run on Watch at the moment it's sad to see what ITV did to it.

Making it a 9pm show and culling the active cast down to a handful of actors was awful. The Bill was never a 9pm show to go up against CSI.

The storylines in the final run were really quite bad. I think I prefer Gabriel Kent to that.

This club storyline with Miss Pouty 'no bra' Lips is getting on my nerves, she's been seeing a gangster for a couple of weeks and he allows her to see all the dodgy bits of the business, and then they tie up Smithy and plan to kill him, its ridiculous stuff.

The only good bit about todays ep was seeing Reg finally getting a bit of happiness in his life.

I was going to post something along these lines as well. Also, Kerry was at least an accessory to a murder, covering up a murder and/or assisting a criminal act...but hey ho lets forget all about that and the poor girl who was killed and let Kerry back with the Radfords again..pure farce

and how on earth did Thatcher set Kerry up with an undercover ID without approval and then get away with said ID being found at a murder scene without one question being asked

The Radfords, the Radfords, the Radfords, the Radfords...ad nauseum I'll be glad when "the Radfords" (and sulky Kerry) have gone!

Perkins and DaCosta should have been given their own spin-off. They were two of the few bright spots during this really fallow period for the show.

Yeah, Terry & Ramani seemed to be the only 2 coppers to actually do any police work during this period. If there was a crime investigation story not related to the bonkers storylines, it was usually those 2 investigating.

Though Terry does eventually get dragged into the madness, surprisingly Ramani remained relatively unscathed.

Raine from eastenders popped up in Tuesday's (Drama) episode as a DI. It was her voice I recognised at first, the rest of her was nothing like Rainie

Oh yes! I'd forgotten! All it seems to have been about for ages is the Radfords, Jerome Taylor and Rob Thatcher vs Okaro and storylines involving Kerry fish lips.

Now there's the whole business with Terry Perkins and his family plus Jim Carver's gambling addiction

Did anyone else know the actor who played Steve Hunter was the real life son of the actor who played Tosh Lines (Kevin Lloyd)?

I googled to see what "Steve" was up to now & found this little snippet!

Also he now runs a cupcake business!

I liked todays ep, a bit of old fashioned policing with some old school characters, makes a good change from some of the rubbish storylines on offer at the moment.
