Will they ever go back to the old episodes from the 90s or not?

No earlier than 1998 I would've thought.

I'm watching January 1996 at the moment on DVD having started a year or two back with Woodentop. 1995/6 was an absolute golden era that I missed at the time. I have bought the remaining episodes up to the return to 50 minute format, and am really looking forward to working my way through these.

Isn't Scott Neal who played Luke Ashton, in EastEnders currently as Jason Adams who was involved in a disturbing scene with Aunt Babe yesterday?

Same here, I'm getting so bored of it. I think they went overboard with him because Mark Fowler was such a wet blanket.

Sooner he buggers off, the better.

She appeared in it a few times before but the last time before she played Suzi Sim she appeared as a crooked translator in a couple of episodes about illegal Chinese immigrants which also featured Burt "Cato" Kwouk as a Catholic priest.

I fast forwarded through yesterday's episode in about 15 minutes as it was all about Princess Pouty, the Radfords and Smithy thinking with the contents of his trousers rather than the contents of his skull.

I hope that Beth Cordingly, who played Kerry, doesn't see these posts referring to her appearance - something she can't do anything about!

Defintion of "pout"

1. To exhibit displeasure or disappointment; sulk.
2. To protrude the lips in an expression of displeasure or sulkiness.
3. To project or protrude: The child's lips pouted.

1. To push out or protrude (the lips).
2. To utter or express with a pout.

1. A protrusion of the lips, especially as an expression of sullen discontent.
2. often pouts A fit of petulant sulkiness

A pout therefore is something she could do something about

I really hated the Gabriel Kent stuff first time around and it always annoyed me, the way they would come up with some contrived situation to get him off the hook.

However, watching it now, I'm actually killing myself laughing. Everything he says and does is just so OTT. I loved how he shamelessly walked up to Smithy in the locker room after shooting Kerry and said, "Did she say anything to you, at the end? I mean, did she try to talk at all?"

I thought the actress that played Kerry was gorgeous or is it just me who think this

I doubt it UKTV said before the reason they stopped showing the older ones was because they were not popular with viewers ?

This current run on Drama (5-days-a-week plus recap on most Sunday's) has been very good with lots of evil villains and bent coppers. Lynda Bellingham as a villain is hard to grasp but sort of grows on you.

Gabriel Kent is starting to drag. The race is on as top who will finally realise that he is the evil one and master of false forensics

Decent episode today i thought,, the whole loan shark storyline looks like it could be decent, especially with Jim Carver being involved, the only worry for me who hasnt seen it before is that at the moment the writing for most of The Bill's storylines has been a bit poor, so there is the thought that they could ruin this one.

Although Meadows is involved and he is one of my favourite characters,, i'm sure Meadows includes the line "Keep it between me and you" in almost all of his storylines

The editors at Drama have been at it again.....

Yvonne Hemmingway and Steve Hunter were in the park looking for a guy who was supposedly taking photos of young kids. Then about 10 minutes before the end of the episode Hunter and Sheelagh were interviewing the guy who had been taking the photos without any indication of how he had ended up there

yeah,, i thought it was decent when it was revealed what had happened and why he was taking pics, but you're right i have no idea how they caught him, they could have shown a bit more about it as it could have been a very good bit of filler for the ep, it deserved more imo
