Not forgetting the current classic "Kristen Shaw"

Did anyone else think the episode with her from birds of a feather was poorly edited, as when Smithy was talking to Gina behind the door, it suddenly cut to him walking along the corridor towards her talking to her, before he walked through the door, i was like wtf!

I'm glad she's back , she's a great character imo

Todays ending was really cheesy , Nixon announces she is DI and it sort of went a bit sickly

Yes No doubt we'll be back to that storyline again very soon.

Henderson count today:

The Henderson fire: 1
The Henderson's garden: 1
The Henderson case: 1
Michelle Henderson: 1
The Henderson home: 3
Jay Henderson: 3
The Henderson's house: 5
And the classic....The Hendersons: 6

I must have too much time on my hands

I'm presuming 'Grantly' is referring to Philip Martin Brown who played that character in Waterloo Road.
He played Jo Master's supergrass pal Seth Mercer in the recent storyline.
I'm a bit behind at the mo and he was killed in the last episode I watched.

I think Gina Gold has to be one of my favourite characters ever, in any TV/Soap , i didnt really watch The Bill originally but when i saw her first appearance on Drama i thought oh no she is going to be a cliche character who drinks whiskey at her desk and a hard faced bitch, but she is just quality imo, i would love to work for a boss like her , hard but fair

is anyone catching up via the android app? my pc is broken so the android app on a tablet is my only way to watch if i miss a day. it was ok at first but now after the adverts finish all i get is a grey screen with the drama logo, audio is ok.
is this happening with anyone else? i cleared the apps cache and all data but it didnt make a difference.

The dodgy parole officer was played by Sgt Troy from Midsomer Murders

Still a bit sad Yvonne went but Sgt. Wright is good. I like Sam as DI, I feel like one of the DC's deserves a promotion now (Jo, Mickey or Terry maybe) but perhaps their characters are probably best how they are now anyway.

Fun game:
Count how many times Stuart and Phil death stare each other.

I didn't think anyone would annoy me as much as Phil's character, but Stuart edges it for me now. He's a smarmy, arrogant dick! And this macho posturing between him and Phil is pathetic.

I think the main message in these programmes is that you should think very carefully before signing on to join the police, but if you do you've got quite a good chance of a pretty good job providing you don't get posted to London. You"ve also got the added attraction and incentive of a probable TV career, too, as more policemen than not these days double up on their salaries with a bit of TV drama on the side..

Article from a few months ago suggesting the repeats are proving popular with viewers - http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/ar...y-repeats.html

Also Marianne Colbran, a former scriptwriter on the show, wrote her thesis on the show's production history! It's very long, as these things tend to be, but some interesting stuff in there - http://etheses.lse.ac.uk/408/1/Colbr...The%20Cops.pdf
