When I say boring I mean dull, not in the drilling sense.

The scouse girl in Friday's episode was a regular on Brookside for the last few years of its existence

I remembered her from Brookie, but I haven't seen her in anything since apart from that episode of The Bill.

Jims had an overnight promotion! In yesterdays episode Heaton referred to him as DC Carver, but when he walked into Sun Hill today he introduced himself as DS Carver

Nice seeing Carver back.

The Hollis-Hardy duo was nice to see, Reg helping Lewis in that discovered body case I also loved the bit where all the male PC's are stood around gossiping about Jim and June and they get ushered on

Poor old Honey.

Didn't they even bother giving her a funeral or even a memorial tree/plaque?

That's twice in a week that Reggie Babe has given one of the new constables a lesson in policing. At least Lewis seemed to appreciate it unlike Diane Noble.

I know! I like it when Reg is kind of like a mentor to them. It'd be nice to see him in another proper duo, like the infamous Des-and-Reggie Babe one even though it wouldn't feel the same.

More words for The BIll drinking game:

Jasmine Allen Estate aka the Jasmine Allen

Not to be confused with:

The Cockcroft Estate
The Larkmead Estate

You could also add:

Barton Street
St Hugh's

If we had to take a drink everytime the 'Jasmine Allen' was mentioned we'd all be dead by now!!

I wonder if the 'Borough Commander' will ever make a comeback on the drinking game?

After Kristen Shaw, Bar Morocco, Zain Nadir, the Colombians and Paul Haskew I'm surprised we're all still standing

This was one of my favourite posts from pineapples. It really summed up the last couple of episodes of the Kristen/Zain storyline.

Nixon got a "my office now" today

Kazia Pelka's corruption was exposed a few episodes back so sadly "the DAC" has to be removed from the drinking game. Unless a new one gets appointed.

I've always maintained that they should have turned it into a series of books called 'Where's Zain?'

On a more serious note, I thought the storyline was well done

Dreadful editing on yesterday's episode.

Ryan Jones running away from Smithy and Gina in the park... sound of two gunshots, then two bodies on the floor but we didn't see the bodies fall... not even on the late night repeat

Smithy's mother was played by Cheryl Hall who played Robert Lindsey's girlfriend in 70s sitcom Citizen Smith

Main Marian as the therapist, a few years after having played a nurse
